deerwood golf course

I felt the course was maintained very well for the low cost I paid to play 18 holes. One of my new favorite spots when I want to play a quick 9 hole round. Very convenient that I have seen deer on the course every time I have played there.

I have never golfed here, but they serve up some great fried chicken, and other homestyle standards. The decor isn't fancy, and considering it's a golf course, they get a par for trying hard at being a restaurant too. A lot of families come here, you might want to check it out, prices are very reasonable.

we wandered in here as strangers and left as friends... this is a marvelous, sociable, well-maintained 27-hole layout operated by the city of North Tonawanda... sometimes government CAN do it better, as it far outstrips the quality and often snooty attitude of municipal courses in nearby, more affluent, Amherst... well-maintained and just enough challenge for the emerging golfer... quiet carts, reasonable rates, even for non-residents, and open a long time, not to close until November in 2013, weather permitting...
