I had a craving to get out into the woods. I went to google.com and typed in Lockport, New York Hiking Trails and this came up. A friend and I went on a gloriously warm late fall day (yesterday) and loved every minute. There were not any trail maps available and the red, yellow and blue trails were not marked, so we didn't find the waterfalls or the big trees this time. I hope to return ASAP.

My wife and I went here to find some letterboxes and found the hiking terrific. The trails are well maintained, there are benches, and little bridges, a nice waterfall. Very nice place to relax and hike for awhile.(btw- if you want to know about Letterboxing - it's a fun treasure hunt type hobby. Check out Atlasquest.org)

This is a nice place to go for a leisurely hike with the family. There's a couple significant hills that make it more than just a 'walk', but its not too tough for little ones. It's also nice that they have plenty of places to sit if you need a break. Make sure to get to the creek and see the little falls. Perfect if you bring a water and healthy snack.

I frequent this trail 1-2 times per week and I miss it dearly when I'm not there. It's wonderful and beautifully maintained by Town of Lockport. The trail is great for exercise or if you're just on a leisurely hike. Many wonderful sites including waterfall which hasn't been at rest with all of the rain we've had. Rain or shine, sleet or snow, this is a beautiful park to visit. A definite hidden treasure and a great place for kids and dog walking too!

This is a peaceful area on the northside of Lockport. A good place for children to discover and play. The waterfall when not dried up is serene.
