oak orchard lighthouse museum

We had been down this way in 2002 and this light didn't exist. It had been destroyed but a group of smart folks had it rebuilt to standards of the original in 2010, and then made a nice museum out of it! It sits on the waterfront in a park area at the mouth of Oak Orchard harbor and creek, and is charming. Get some theme gifts in the gifts shop and learn a bit about the local history.Excellent educational stop.
