DOUGANDPOLLY
any other santa is just a helper... Kelly's has the definitive jolly old elf, who spends a lot of time with each kid and does not push "mall" photos... this makes for long lines from time to time, but there seems little squirming, as each toddler-parent combo seems assured of getting access to a well-tuned ear...

A cute country store that is full of different knickknacks and lots of candy from fudge to sponge candy. You can pick up some neat gifts here and they have a wonderful Santa for Christmas.

The Kelly family have run this store for as long as I can remember. It's an old fashioned country store with "penny candy" (not a penny a pound anymore, but what is?). They have a lot of hand made chocolates for every season and free visits with the Easter Bunny and Santa too!

This is a cute little store with an old fashion look. Many beautiful choices for gifts. If candy is your thing then you definitely need to stop by. We love the old penny candy look where candy is placed in glass jars. Their homemade chocolate is great. Buffalo is known for sponge candy and Kelly's store has a nice selection. Easy off and on the highway.

We like to stop at Kelly's on our way to the Falls, or during the Christmas season, or during the Easter season, or whenever we want some candy. There's just something about all the jars of "penny" candy that brings back memories of childhood.(Well, except that the price is now $4.99 a pound - but you don't have to buy a whole pound, they're nice that way.) They also make chocolate in their own factory and is it incredible at Christmas and Easter when you can find almost anything related to each season made out of various types of chocolate! They are not limited to candy. There is a candle room, spreadable goodies, unusual pastas, all kinds of gift ware, seasonable gift baskets, and so much more. Scattered amongst the items for sale are antiques that are not for sale - just for looking. At Easter and Christmas the back rooms are decorated extensively and make for a nice holiday outing. This summer the Christmas display is already up for the enjoyment of the many tourists who stop in. It was a pleasant surprise for us as well - Christmas in July!
