Lovely building within walking distance to a parking garage (on street parking is horrible!!) I enjoyed the show I watched but the employees/volunteers(?) were wanting. I was snapped at by a woman when I was trying to take a picture of the architecture. The show was over and I was not disturbing anyone. I will go back again, but I was disappointed.

We had to go for a concert of the RPO with a family members choir accompanying them. It was an entertaining concert with nice acoustics. We were in the way up nose bleed seats since they were cheaper and I would recommend bringing binoculars to enhance your viewing experience. Wherever you look there are beautiful details and artwork on the walls and ceilings. The seats were pretty comfortable and there was a little elbow room. With all the beauty the place still looks a little tired, but it is fun to imagine the opulence and beauty of yesteryear. The halls had these neat marble fountains that no longer work, but they had to be grand in their heyday. Definitely worth a visit.

I went to see the Nutcracker Suite over Thanksgiving. The people of Rochester are extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful amenity. The show was excellent and the staff and service were impeccable. I thoroughly enjoyed this visit.

The Rochester Phil. Orchestra is always enjoyable to hear and has had popular conductors from other countries. There is also the very popular Nutcracker soon after Thanksgiving. A must see for families. My sons watched in rapt attention at the young ages of 6 to13. I had four sons! There are also special holiday concerts with some having sing-a-longs. Check out their website for programs and purchasing tickets on line. A must for all music fans!

Our daughter was at the Eastman School of Music for a lesson and to meet a Professor. The school is connected to the Eastman Theatre. The building is beautiful and very nice. Glad we were able to see it!

The Eastman is one of Rochester's landmarks and with good reason. Lovely old theatre with tons of charm. The main lobby is one of the highlights with the 12 part mural that tells the story of psyche and cupid. The main performance space is also stunning with a huge chandelier and very ornate artwork on the ceiling. If you make it to a performance, make sure you get there early so you can wander and take in all the sights!The Eastman School of Music uses the space extensively and offers many performances for free. Drop by their website concert listings so you can have an excuse to take in some good music in this lovely space.

A monument of the prosperity of Rochester and the cultural heritage. The concerts they organize are really superb and is always pleasing to be there.

Attended a symphony tonight.Excellent musicians!Everyone in Rochester has been very helpful and friendly.The ticket agent assisted us in calling a taxi.The sales clerk in the gift shop was helpful.

If you get the chance to take in a performance at the storied Eastman Theatre make sure to take advantage. It is a lasting credit to Eastman that he set up such a prestigious institution and Rochester is infinitely better for it.

I have been to many concerts at the Eastman Theatre and I have never been disappointed. First class all the way. I have been to professional concerts and many Eastman School of Music student concerts and have never been disappointed by the talent that performs here. What a wonderful experience - introducing a 9 yr old grandson to the splendor of Kodak Hall in the Eastman Theatre and the glorious sound of the RPO!!! A full orchestra performing two hours of familiar, entertaining music with film clips from all 14 of the lively, much-loved PIXAR animated movies. Kudos to the RPO and Rochester. You continue to win our hearts. We will be back, and continue to share your excellence with others.

I enjoy going to the Eastman House. There is so much to see and learn. The history is is a pure delight. A must see.

Have seen many shows here from concerts to theatrical. Very few poor seats in the house. Great acoustics.

I was at the theatre in February for the Phantom of the Opera and enjoyed it emmensly. The venue is beautiful and kept clean. I would go back anytime for a show.
