I have been to Sky High several times. The aerial park is a great way to spend an afternoon. They offer a crash course instruction that will get you started. There are many courses for various ability levels so I keep coming back year after year. Great for work groups or families as I have come with both. Highly recommended. It does get busy on weekends so I would make an appointment.

Went with a group of family and friends. Can't wait to go back again. They control how many people are on the course at a given time. You are allotted three hours - well worth the time and price. I are an active, outdoor family and were tired by the end of our three hours so it was perfect. If you are afraid of heights, I found that your brain is thinking more about clipping in and out and how best to attack the course, that you really didn't think much about the height for the majority of the time. I started on the green course (next to the easiest) and finished on a blue course (black and double black at next)- perfect!

Our kids are 11 and 9. We have done this type of experience in other places ...they are adventurous and we all enjoy this type of activity! It was a busy day, but we did not find it crowded. Great variety. Loved that we could all be in the same area, but choose the right course for each child's level. SO safe and well priced!! A MUST DO!!!!!

Had a great time with my friends here. It gets pretty busy but they have many different courses to choose from. It's a lot of fun especially if your a adventurous person. Wish the zip lines went faster though. I will be going back again

Sky High Adventure Park at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville NY was a lot of fun for our family, but may not be for everyone. It's more strenuous than it seems. We visited with 2 adults and my son (12) and daughter (10). Even though the age limit starts at 7, I would not recommended it for under 10 years old. Kids under 13 would be best if they are athletic kids. My son plays hockey, baseball and basketball and my daughter does gymnastics and figure skating so they were fine. You pay for a 3 hour ticket and it's pretty expensive (IMO) at $51pp including a single trip down the mountain coaster. They do a good job of harnessing you up and even helped me attach my camera to my harness. There is a short orientation when they go over with you how to hook up to the obstacle courses and ziplines. More importantly, there is a practice area where you can make sure you are ready. There is plenty of staff available to help you. They made us feel very comfortable. We started with the "yellow" courses because they are the easiest. We did 2 of those and moved up one level to "green". We had no trouble getting through these, although some other people we saw (less athletic adults and a younger child) were struggling and needed the attendants to come up and help them. Lastly, we did on of the "green" courses that consists of mainly longer ziplines and less obstacles, but lands you in the end down by the lodge. That was probably the highlight of the trip and I recommend not missing it. The entrance is not on the platform with the others, but just ask and they will show you where to go for this. After the obstacle course and ziplines, we headed to the mountain coaster. You sit in a sled-like car that automatically brings you to the top, then gravity brings you down as you wind through the mountain. You can control your speed with a hand brake. This was fun, but no cameras were allowed for safety reasons. Overall, this was really fun, and I highly recommend trying it if you are an active family. I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars due to the price and they fact that younger kids or non-athletic tweens will find this difficult.

This was a great place to visit. We had 3 hours in the trees zip lining and then a 3800 ft ride downhill on a sled type ride. The pictures were overpriced but very nice. Should be a package deal as you pay 20.00 each and 5.00 if you want a second slipcover. the snack bar was fine and reasonable.Would recommend.

My husband and I went for the first time to Sky High and had a great time! The staff were wonderful and always available with help or suggestions if needed. We can hardly wait to get back and this time we will bring the kids! Be prepared to use muscles you might not have realized you have. Great physical and mental workout!

This was our second visit to Sky High and we had a terrific time again! The employees were polite and helpful. We would go back again.

Sky High was an amazing experience. Be prepared to get a workout!! When we visited we went with a whole bachelorette party. We had a blast. The staff were really great. Anytime someone needed help (aka coaching) they were right below you, ready to shout encouragements. The zip lines were exhilarating!. The one at the end was so long, it was just you and the noise from the wind and zip line for the longest time. Keep your feet up at the landings!!

If you have never experience an aerial park, my only advice would be to go now! By combining both a sense of safety with the possibility of falling out of a tree, along with lots of fun zip lines, Sky High will be a family workout you won't soon forget!

My family and I were on vacation, and we wanted to try Sky High Aerial Adventure Park in Ellicottville, New York. When we got there we were early for our climbing time, so we decided to try the Sky High Mountain Coaster. We had to pay eight dollars a person. We all loved the coaster! It's a very smooth family ride, with no drops. I recommend you try the coaster. Before we started climbing we had a little tutorial to make sure we knew how to climb. If you are a beginner I suggest you stay with yellows and greens. When I finished a blue I was pretty tired, so I suggest you should do a green before a blue, and a yellow before a green. The black diamonds are challenging courses needing a lot of upper body strength, balance, and endurance. Every courses have zip lines and fun challenges. If your looking for long zip lines try Grand Rapids! You have to be fifty four inches tall and don't need a lot of strength. I definitely recommend you go to Sky High Aerial Adventure Park, it's such a fun time for adults and kids

I went here with my wife and our two kids. We got a three hour pass, which turned out to be too short. We got a very good workout, and found that the park was good mental and physical exercise. It took some thought to conquer some of the obstacles. Can't wait to go back.

This is a great attraction that absolutely lives up to the excellent reviews . . . If a day of physical outdoor activity is your thing, then you must try Sky High . . . it is incredibly fun and challenging and is something that can be enjoyed equally by both adults and children. Our whole family had a blast at this park. There are so many different courses, with different skill levels, to choose from. The easier courses (greens/yellows) were easily navigated by our little guy, but they were still a lot of fun even for the older kids and adults in our party. If you wish to be a little more daring, try the black diamond or double black. We did the single black diamond -- this was PLENTY challenging and definitely required some strength and endurance. We were all pretty tired at the end of that course. If you just want to have fun and not expend a lot of physical and mental energy, stick with the yellow/green blue courses. What I also appreciated about Sky High was that this was a very well run operation . . . staff were plentiful and very helpful. The check in process was a breeze . . . we got our equipment quickly, and staff assisted us in getting the gear on. After a quick tutorial, we were on the course in no time. I've been to similar parks that were not nearly as efficient and that can be extremely frustrating. Also, long lines and waits on the course can be frustrating, but at Sky High, I can honestly say that during the 2 days we spent at the park, we did not have any waits that I thought were excessive or unreasonable. This was SO NICE . . . on many of the courses, it seemed like we had the entire course to ourselves. Sky High recommends reservations, and I think they do a good job purposefully not overbooking the climbing sessions. This is a huge plus IMO.Also, after a 3 hour climb (this is plenty of time), spend the extra 4 bucks and take a ride on the mountain coaster. That also was a lot of fun for the kids and adults. Overall, a great place and we're very glad we found it!! The town of Ellicotville is awesome as well.

Thought the course was exceptional, had a really fun day with the family, and the cost was very reasonable. Definitely worth it and will go back. But the lady at the cash was rude and I felt she was in serious need of drama, which she did a fine job of creating. It's a very disorganized start as this lady sought to do too much, running around with criticism about everything and everyone: I thought it was very unprofessional. Lots of standing around by other staff and clients absolutely clueless about the sign-in/check-in process. Then on the mountain ride, no one said anything about taking pics, and there were NO signs. As I pulled my camera out of my pocket an angry maintenance fellow yelled with a good show of anger that I am not supposed to be taking pictures. I certainly wouldn't if I had known that was the rule. The course is super amazing; the staff are in serious need of an upgrade.

I've brought my company here several times and had a blast. The obstacles are fantastic and well done. The lady who signs you up is incredibly rude each and every time we've been here. Once you get past her, the rest of the experience is great.
