Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, decent whites. This winery is definitely worth a stop for a tasting. The whites were good, the winery does not produce their own reds. Explore the property and chat with the staff to make your visit even better.

A charming spot - picturesque and classy - but we were here for the wine! The top range sparkle was wonderful - a zero dosage means the base wine needs to be faultless with no phenolic flaws - and this defined this single grape traditionally made sparkle. Some other wines as well to please all sorts of palates but myself and my partner will tell lots of people on our travels and lots of winemaking colleagues in OZ about this classy Sparkling Brut. Phyllis' wonderful, refreshingly honest and delightfully humorous personality is a bonus.

There is no doubt that the vineyard is beautiful. In fact, it is one of the nicest vineyards near NYC, including the ones on Long Island. Definitely a great property to visit. But this is about it in terms of value. The wine experts probably publish official ratings online, so it's worth checking, but a non-pro, will find some of their white and sparkling wines above average, but not for the price they charge. $30+ per bottle is not cheap, but not outrageous either. What seems odd is that you won't even get a tour or a free tasting when you buy a few bottles. Be ready to pay a full price for the wine, the tastings, and the wine you buy to walk around with. So your hundred bucks will get you a couple of bottles of mediocre wine and two glasses of wine to drink while wondering around their beautiful property. And they don't even let you keep the glass! Great nature, nice staff, low value.

While this is not the place for enthusiasts of great wines, the white and sparkling wines and cassis are acceptable. It is a lovely place to visit. Despite the caliber of the wines, unlike many better wineries, the winery charges for tastings and does not refund the charges when purchases are made.

The grounds of Clinton Vineyards are beautiful. It's worth a stop just to take a few pictures and enjoy the great outdoors. Clinton Vineyards does not offer a tour but the tasting room is very appealing and the staff was very nice. For $10 you can taste five flights but if you're not into dessert wine, it may not be worth it. Most of the tastings were dessert wines and 2 champagnes.P.S. It's pet friendly as long as your furry friend is on a leash.

The wine is a bit expensive though a couple are worth the investment. The tasting room is nice and it is clean. Basically, I am saying you should go try it for yourself. Worth a trip to Clinton Corners.Cheers

No tour of the vineyards or winery. Wines were very expensive for the area - especially the dessert wines. The tasting was $10/person for 5 wines and you didn't even get to keep your glass!!! (even if you bought wine). Usually, vineyards who charge for tastings let you keep the glass as a souvenir. Spoke to the owner about this - she was very rude and dismissive, claiming that she was an 'upscale winery'. She will NEVER get my business ever again. Obviously, she has never checked the competition in Napa, or even Brotherhood Winery across the river.
