The trees and greenery are a constant source of beauty. Bring a picnic or order from their grill. It is a perfect family outing or a wonderful place for a solo hike to contemplate life's deeper meaning.

A very nice place to spend the afternoon. The trail is roughly a mile long, however there are many rocks to climb, crevasses to explore and little caves to crawl into. My boys love to climb and use their imagination (be careful there are some really high places that could be dangerous, not recommended for really young children). The have a small area that sells food during the peak season, nothing like a nice ice cream after burning all the calories from rock climbing. It is really nice during the fall with all leaves changing colors. The only real down side is all the roots on the trail it is very easy to twist an ankle, WARNING do not wear white shorts when visiting, I learned the hard way.

When trying to decide what to do on a three week visit with my family this past summer, my mom suggested we go to Panama Rocks. I hadn't thought about Panama Rocks since I was in middle school and decided to look them up on line. OMG - I had forgotten how awesome it was and my kids and I got excited about checking it out in July. My mom, sister, and I took my three kids (ages 19, 12, and 3) and we truly loved it! Everyone enjoyed how beautiful it was and how much fun it was to climb in and on the rocks. We took so many pictures and in fact used them on our Christmas card this year. We will definitely visit again. I'm thinking a fall visit would be breathtaking!!

We went to Panama Rocks this Fall and were just amazed. At first we were unsure about paying money to go hiking (the park is funded by admission) but it was TOTALLY WORTH IT! The main trail is about one mile, but you are encouraged to explore. We hiked around and explored for about two hours, but you could spend all day exploring if you are feeling adventurous. We got some wonderful pictures, but even the best ones don't do it justice.Since we live in the area, we are going to get season passes next year.We strongly recommend visiting!

Pretty leaf lovers ventures. I could do the walk. Very nice and our party would come back again...maybe in the spring. Nice for a wedding venue with a nice area for a reception and convenient parking.

I say this not only because the hiking trail forms a loop, which is always more interesting than an out-and-back straight trail, but also because the park owners are inventive with the park's ammenities. Doing things like organizing relaxing evening get-togethers for season pass holders, and other such creative uses of the park's layout. The owners are incredibly friendly, as well.

I have been going to Panama Rocks since I was a kid and enjoy it every time I visit. It is a great time climbing on the rocks and meandering through the crevices. If you like being outside and hiking, you should stop here. The trails are easy to follow, but going off the trail is a must as well. It's a nice short length that is not too difficult. The scenery is lovely. Make sure you bring your camera!

There is something wrong with you if you do not find this place awesome. I had no idea what to expect when the three of us showed up. There are many places that lure you like a cheap haunted house and you leave disappointed. This was not one of them.There is a an easy mile hiking trail around the rocks, but the beauty is that you can explore the grottos, passageways, and chambers of Panama Rocks. We are in our late 40's, 50's and 60's and we ran around taking pictures and slipping through hidden passageways like it was a giant habitrail for people.The lichens and mosses are so green and interesting. We even found a bright orange newt or Eft.If you are a nature lover or enjoy interesting rocks, passageways, and places where your imagination can run wild...then you will love Panama Rocks.

We have lived in the area for a long time, and my 10 year old daughter put Panama Rocks on our summer to-do list. We have been there 4 times and plan to go a few more! The hike is beautiful and the perfect length. The rocks are amazing - you have to see them to understand. My daughter loves to climb the rocks and walk sideways through the crevices. We love Panama Rocks - it has become our favorite place to go when we have a few hours free. The staff is always friendly and the cost is overly reasonable. We highly recommend visiting Panama Rocks - we are lucky we live so close.

My parents used to take us here when we were little and i would love to bring my kids and grandkids now...one thing i dont remember is ..is there a picnic area equipped with grills? or would we have to bring are own? anybody know?

I've been to the park many times and each time I find something new and I am always in awe with what has been created here. I always enjoyed my visits as a child and continue to enjoy them as an adult. I can't wait to bring all of my kids to the park again so that I can share this with them.
