palm island indoor waterpark

I absolutely loved this place, If you have children 6 years and under this is perfect for them, We tried splash lagoon last year and my girls (age 2,4 & 6) were too scared to do the slides plus they were not even tall enough. Palm island was perfect for there ages, I mean the place is not huge but it was just enough for them and they had a blast and did not want to leave. They could run on there own and I was not afraid, they had life guards everywhere watching also, a cute little concession stand and chain restaurants located everywhere near the hotel. The water was warm, hotel was clean and it was a perfect weekend get away from this winter snow. We did the package that included the hotel stay and 4 passes, absolutely worth the price, Only complaint I have was our noisy neighbors, I know and understand its mostly children in the hotel but rude to let them run up and down the halls all hours of the night. Also the Oasis Breakfast buffet the next morning was great also.

Fun for the grandchildren and just a short trip away Food in yhe restaurant was great.. Did not like the noisy neighbors.

We visited Palm Island in the summer of 2014 and enjoyed it so we held a birthday party there last weekend. We chose this venue because the party packages were extra reasonable and our birthday girl (born in January) desperately wanted a "beach party". The time allowance of 3 hours swimming; 1 hour in the party room was perfect! The staff was extra courteous and helpful. Especially the manager, Eric who checks in with each group of guests. Also, the ladies at the snack bar were really nice and gave us a free pitcher of water and plastic cups while as we all became a bit thirsty before our time in the party room actually began.The best thing was they found my wallet and Eric called me- not a thing was missing from it and they even passed it along to the hotel (Clarion) to be locked up until I got back there to get it. The ladies at the front desk of the Clarion were also SUPER helpful and nice. A couple of other things:This is a wonderful place to bring kids- because you can walk around the perimeter and see just about everything.

Great place to bring kids. We come every few months and get the package (hotel and water park) which is a great deal.

As far as water parks go its below average... as far as hotel water parks above average.. not sure of the charge but I hear is a good deal of your staying there with kids. .Clean hotel and pool.. restaurant on site as well..

had a friends wedding here the food was very good the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere and temp was good would definitely recommend this place to family and friends

This is really a glorified splash pad. It has just two large slides. One slide (green one) is really fast. It's hard to complain as it was included in the price of our hotel room, but I don't think its worth the $20 price tag if I had to pay separately.

Its nice for kids, but not worth $15 for adults. Maybe if adults go in with their kids for 1/2 price. Its ok, and I am not saying anything negative about it. Just a little pricey for adults

This was our 2nd visit with our 3.5 year old daughter. We also took her when she was 2. We loved the giant family friendly(not too hot for kids), grotto style hot tub and spent most of our time in there. The kids splash area is fun, has lots of sprinklers, dumping buckets and 3 small water slides. Indoor pool is very shallow, and has a basket ball net and tons of balls floating about, again perfect for families with small children. There are also two larger tube water slides, an outdoor pool, an arcade and a fast food area- though we did not use any of these things, perhaps could help engage older children ;) We also spent the night in the hotel and it is definitely not a 5 star rating...very run down and shabby but CLEAN (phew). I did not add this into overall rating as it does not effect the water park experience.

Should not be advertised as a waterpark. ..but simply just a extra amenity the hotel has to offer..hot tub was cold ....cute for 5and under i suppose....

We went with a large group of girls. They had a great time, but didn't stay at the park long. There are two "big" water slides, so it doesn't take long to get bored with them, but they are fun for a while. It would be nice if adults could sit around the pool with canned beer, but I can see where that could become a problem.

nice but small. Very warm inside even in winter. One water slide was good the other was a violent ride. After banging my head and arm on the way down I decide to stick with the other one. The kids enjoyed both. The indoor pools/hot tub were ok

Great for kids up to the age of 8-9, but very small. Better for smaller kids. Great splash pad area with a depth of 1ft. Rooms are standard, nothing fancy. But great location for shopping, eating and the batavia downs.

Fun place for younger kids. We took our 7 and 9 year olds and they had a fun time. The water park was clean and well supervised. We got a great deal on a package on line for $10 tickets. Food prices at snack bar are reasonable. I would say good for kids up to 10 or so. Older kids would be bored.

We are sorry to hear that you did not have a good time during your event at the Waterpark. I am having difficulty with some of the information you posted in your review. My two main focuses are the food and the staffing. For your food concerns we always have your food ready and hot in the party room at the start of the party time to make sure your event stays on track as to not throw off your party schedule. We are always more than happy to add food to your event from the time you make the reservation all the way up to the time you leave the waterpark. We also always try and meet any dietary requirements anyone may have. So I apologize if you feel that we did not meet your requirements for this. For your staffing issue we have someone in the Concession Stand and Gift shop area to assist any guest. Along with associates and guards on the pool deck. We would have been happy to address any of your concerns.We have had several guests tell us how reasonable our party pricing is. In fact I personally just spoke to someone about it and she doubled checked the pricing because she thought it would be a lot more.
