audubon par-3 golf course

I have been going to Audubon for several years since it is in the neighborhood. Each time I have gone I expect that some work had been completed on the course and each time I am disappointed. I won't go back. There are many small ditches throughout the course as well as poorly cared for trees and greens. Some of the greens are so bad it is hard to tell which is actually the hole and which is just an imperfection. The tees are often broken or missing and the ground so hard it is near impossible to push a tee into the ground. There are a couple benches around and a water jug in the back of the course. There is an outhouse available. It is a shame that in Amherst there is not a better Par -3. It could be nice if it were better taken care of by the town.

for the golfer with an hour to spare or so, this is ideal, a flat, even par-3 course with a few hazards... don't even need tees, if you don't want... a few carts may be obtained if arranged for in advance, but why bother? enjoy the walk and work on your short game... you don't even have to HAVE a long game to enjoy it..
