we wondered how this would fly... answer: very high... this past labor day it was quite busy and the staff are remarkably friendly and accommodating.. next big task, throw in a few minor hazards, as there is a sameness of the holes that would work against a lot of repeat traffic...

Not a golfer but this is really fun. Can't wait to bring the whole family back. Beautiful surroundings

After playing Destroyer Golf you will want to come back and play the course again. Family friendly easy to play but demanding for all. Being outside in the elements on a beautiful day in Akron, NY nothing better you can do with the family or with your friends. I enjoyed myself and meeting Dick (know as the Destroyer) was a pleasure.

Here's a totally different links experience, based on a the design popular in Japan, where land is at more of a premium... Shorter holes (40 to 100 yards), larger ball (a bit larger than a handball, and hard), one club serving as both driver and putter... it is not as easy as it seems, about 90 per cent golf, 10 per cent croquet, operated by retired professional wrestler Dick "The Destroyer" Beyer who is almost always on the country-estate property, ready to join in... also on site: a wrestling museum... This is a good man, a good course and a fun day out, 18 holes requiring perhaps an hour and a half at a fee of $8
