Nice way to walk along Gore creek and through the side of the resort. We relaxed in couple areas. Local people were nice and helpful with information.

The sun was shining, the brook babbling and birds chirping. I didn't feel the altitude one bit as I took an invigorating jog every morning of my trip. I even took a break and sat next to the water soaking in the best of what nature has to offer.

There are numerous bike shops offering the bike rental/drop off at Vail Pass tour. With all my stops for photos it took about 2.5 hours. 95% downhill, so very easy. The scenery is spectacular! A very enjoyable way to spend a morning in the mountains. There are a few spots where you are next to the expressway, which is a bit nerve wracking, but other than that, it's relaxing. Highly recommend it! And, yes, if you are an avid cyclist like my husband you can ride up to Vail Pass and continue even further for a terrific workout!

This was a very nice path that you can run on walk along. It is right along the river and can be seen from the Vail Cascade resort.

The recreation path is gorgeous, accessible for most, and well worth the walk. It meanders along a creek bed, in between the villages and the base of the mountain. The sights, sounds, and fresh mountain air is so worth it! I stayed in the valley for a wedding, and even though I have been to Vail many times I have never taken advantage of the recreation path - do so! It was the best way to see the villages, the fall colors, and get deep breaths of fresh air.

The Vail path travels along the river (stream) for a good portion. You can hike from West Vail into Lionshead or Vail proper and all the way to east vail. Plenty of places to stop and watch folks fishing, or to throw a few rocks into the river (not near the fisherman). Beautiful scenery and you can see some of the great houses of Vail.

Go to Wheel to rent a bike in Lionshead, great people, took us in a van to the top of vail pass and let us ride our bikes down the 12-13 mile path and around Vail. Beautiful path! A must do

Part of the ride from Breckenridge to Avon (and beyond, if you wish) -- this is a great path. Walk it or ride it as far as suits your ability and desires! In summer, the flowers are wonderful!

This is like a single lane road asphalt road that wanders loosely along the creek it is several miles long and gentle enough in grade that it is not a strain.

Vail is the summer. Be sure to take some time to get out and walk around. It is spectacular. The weather and the views were spectacular.

We rented bikes in Vail and rode this path. It was so scenic, and had very many photo ops! We did about a 12 mile round trip ride. It takes you through some neighborhoods, by the golf course, over and by streams. We even saw some wildlife. This was great fun!

Quiet, beautiful, great change from the busy shopping and restaurants in Vail Village. Liked the constant sound of the water and the wind.

The trail is well kept and meanders along the Gore River. There are many areas on the trail where you can get off the trail and sit by the River. It is a multiuse path and is well utilized.

While we stayed in Vail Village, we took full advantage of the Vail Path along Gore Creek. It connects several "communities" in and around Vail, making it easy to get to tons of hotels/condos, restaurants, bars, shops and attractions. We were on the path multiple times a day. Good for walking, running and biking - beautiful scenery!

Every time we visit Vail, we make it a point to walk or bike at least part of this beautiful trail. It's a refreshing respite from every day's concerns. We've always found it safe, spotlessly clean, and surrounded by interesting architecture and sculpture, as well as amazing plantings. Very nice, Vail. Very nice, indeed!
