If you think food shopping is fun, this is a fun place. There are lots of good organic foods for sale, there are many vendors selling interesting hot prepared foods, and by the sit down community tables, there is almost always someone playing fun upbeat music. Yes, the prices are about the same as Whole Foods, which I do disagree with, it seems if you have a lower overhead, it should be cheaper. But guys, organic small, local, non-Monsanto costs more. There is even a place where lamb, goat, beef and pork raised without antibiotics is sold. If you don't know how important this is find out, because it is. Ok, so it's been too overwhelming and isn't quite your cup of tea, you are in luck, the famous and beautiful Dushanbe Tea House is right next door. Pop in and have a quieter, relaxing cup of tea, or a breakfast or lunch. Not IHOP prices, but it's not IHOP.

We went to the market early and managed to get free parking nearby. Great place for breakfast and to buy some local produce if you have a hotel room with a kitchen. We bought some great bread and pastries, fresh made salsa and tortilla chips. They have a food court nearby for breakfast or lunch.Check the website for hours of operation

What a feast for the eyes as well as so many choices for superb farm fresh veggies and fruits. The vendors all take such great care with presentation and freshness. The baked goods are phenomenal and the food court full of many different choices. I love this place!

Coming from So. California where open-air, Farmer’s Markets are a cultural staple. This large market, however, was one of the best with beautiful, plentiful fruits and organic vegetable also grown locally. We bought almost 5# of Fingerling potatoes based just on looks alone. The over all atmosphere was exciting, fragrant, and very friendly.

This farmers market was awesome and large! The vegetables were gorgeous, it's hard to choose! We found a booth that sold polish items like pierogi's, golumki, strudel and poppy seed bread, awesome food! Since I was visiting, I had to restrain myself on buying everything! Next time I'm here, I'm going back!

The Boulder Farmer's Market was lovely. I was particularly happy to see an area to sit and eat - our farmer's market does not have that! But I missed the live music we have at home. Go before you go to the grocery! You will be surprised by how many options there are.

Don't miss the Farmer's Market in Boulder every Saturday and Wednesday in growing season just 2 blocks off the Pearl Street mall. Whether you are looking for heirloom tomatoes vine ripened to mix with your luscious purple eggplant into a delightful ratatouille or just wandering the market for a tasty breakfast baked good and a cup of coffee Boulder's Farmer's Market has it all. Plants, herbs, huge bouquets of flowers sunflowers and more delicate garden blooms, bread and baked goods, honey, salmon caught in Bristol Bay and home made cheeses with a piquancy that will satisfy the connoisseur, you can find it here. If your palate is for lunch there is an entire street of vendors waiting to serve you gyros, samosas and burritos along with smoothies and lemonade. Take a stroll with the kids or a dog or just yourself and enjoy the community event that is the Boulder Farmers Market. Check out the Art Museum in the middle of the market while you are there for an added touch of culture. Enjoy!

Eat, shop, enjoy! Best farmer's market. Friendly, well informed vendors. Delicious "food court" for a unique breakfast. The vegan pistachio tamales are awesome and the woman who makes them was clearly passionate about food. The produce was beautiful and displayed artfully. Sometimes there is good live music too.

Very large farmers market in downtown Boulder. Tons of beautiful, varied produce in the summer, some specialty foods and a few crafts. A pleasant way to pass some time on a Saturday. No dogs allowed.

We always visit the farmers market when in Boulder. There are so many things to see and buy. Everything from fruits, veggies, meats, wines, breads, flowers, to jewelry, and so much more. Lots of places to eat as well. It's just a great place. The only problem is parking. Be patient, you'll find a place.

Lots of food/farmers to choose from and vendors with meat/chicken/cheese/wine/herbs/baked goods as examples of variety of vendors.

We were in Boulder on vacation and may plan another trip next year just to be able to go to the farmer's market at the beginning of a trip and not the end! We stopped in here on our last day and we were sad that we could not buy some of everything. The variety is amazing and everything we tasted was delicious. There are tons of fruits and vegetables, all kinds of meats, and many homemade treats. There is also a section with food to order and eat and a nice shaded seating area. Many of the stands offer samples and we purchased some salsa and then had to figure out how to get it on the plane! We plan to go back to Boulder but arrive on a Friday so that we can hit the farmer's market first thing on Saturday and enjoy our purchases all week long!

I love the Boulder Farmer's Market! A wide variety of organic produce, sauces, baked goods, and other prepared foods to try. Just a note that every vendor we've made a purchase from has been high priced. The heirloom tomatoes are heavenly and I really enjoy the tortillas and hot sauce we bought this last visit.

we happened to be in boulder the first saturday the market opened for the 2014 season. it was lovely! great food and coffee, and a nice selection of produce and condiments. we had lunch at the food trucks. i had thai; he had an organic sandwich. both were delicious, as was a blueberry scone we picked up earlier. only drawback was that it was very crowded and difficult to find a space to eat.

There is nothing quite like spending a Saturday afternoon at the farmer's market! For it's relatively small size, the market has a surprising variety of quality, healthy products from produce to bread to baked goods. There are also several vendors offering tasty snacks and lunch foods- all organic, of course, with amazing vegan and vegetarian options. Don't forget to bring a picnic blanket for sitting in the adjacent park!
