Came here to eat at a group event. Buffet style food served was decent and staff attending the meal were capable of a group of around 60 people. Head bartender was super arrogant and very unfriendly in bar. He told us this was his last summer there and was moving on where he had other offers. It was very obvious that he could care less about repeat business. I am sure this employee is long gone.

This is one really wide course set into a mountain valley. What better scenery could you ask for, nothing is the answer

We really enjoyed the course and it was great to play a course with such wonderful views. We played after 3 to avoid the $150 tee times, and this apparently was our mistake. The grill and clubhouse were pretty much closed down and not serving anything on a saturday night. We couldn't get food at the turn or after we played. This changed our view of the club given the hefty green fees and lack of customer service. We belong to a club and saturday night is not the night that things close early and not available to guests and members.

The Club of Crested Butte was beautifully kept and the staff was delightful and so helpful. A bit difficult to find due to poor/no signage, but it's well worth finding it! From the pro shop staff, the starter to the drink cart lady, ALL were so delightful! PS: Call the course to get the best rate!

Great place to relax and have a drink with friends and family post-skiiing. I don't golf, so i can't speak to that component of this club. I ski and fish... The service was A+. I was a guest here, sucking off my brother's tab, and if i were a homeowner here, i would definitely join this place to enjoy the winter pleasures.

We've been fortunate to have been members of the club for years, but it is also open to the public, and the course is not just spectacular in its quality, upkeep, and views, but is also exceptionally challenging - especially the back nine. Honestly though, skip the Friday night grill nights, as the food has a long way to go to be considered even as contenders to the superb restaurants in town. But the service in the bar and the grill is attentive, and the guys on the golf course will go out of their ways to make sure you are well taken care of. I can't think of much better than exactly what we did, days of flyfishing in the morning, topped with great golf games in perfect July weather every afternoon. THAT is a vacation!

Unfortunately it's the only game in townThe fees are much to high for a all right course It is a Robert Tent Jones course, but really!

This would be a great golf course if they lowered the prices. The husband couldn't afford to play golf here ($150 is too much!) but went to hit balls. Even for hitting balls, $20 is a good bit too much. There are much cheaper ways of spending time outdoors in CB.

Crested Butte Country Club is a semi-private club with a fun but challenging golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II. If you love golf, you shouldn't miss the opportunity to play this course!

We booked our tee time well in advance and found out when arriving at the proshop that high season had just started and the fee($150/person) was more than double what was expected. The course is very nice but we were rained out after 6 holes and had to talk fast to get even a small refund.

This is a nice golf course. It is too expensive. When we visited the course we saw only one foursome !!!!! They need to fill this golf course up by lowering prices !!!!!!!It should cost 44.00-49.00 to walk. Make walking an option. With a cart it should cost 10.00 more. The golf facilities and people were okay... The problem is simple.. Golf is too expensive andthe prices must come down. When the prices are correct -- people will fill this course to the brim !!!!!!!!! GOLF must become affordable to attract the masses. I would play there often if the green fees were about 45 bucks to walk..Golf Course management: Remember -- you are competing against dozens of other things to do in the mountains for recreation that are just as fun and much much cheaper.. Some are free !!! So lower the green fees that it becomes affordable... You will make more $$$ in the long run.
