    因为这个景点附近真的没有太多标示,只能问当地人,后来在rifle城中问出来远离是15英里的路啊,如果不是开车,估计骑车会死人的。另外没有公车去,漫不方便的。

My wife and I came to Rifle to getaway to a quiet, peaceful place for the weekend. It is seriously a photographer's dream. We took so many pictures. It is a very short walk to the actual falls itself and then they have caves all along the falls that you can walk in. There are trails all around. It is definately a must see!

This is a great little hike to see a spectacular waterfall. If you can get into the parking area (sometimes you can't in the summer), it is only about a 400 meter hike to the waterfalls. Once you get there, you have a couple of options. 1, you can hike in and amongst the falls. 2, you can hike around the the falls and end up on top of them looking down. It is a pretty nice view. This is a little bit longer hike and takes you about 1.5 to 2 miles roundtrip.

great trails around the falls/park. clean campgrounds (for Feb.) I was looking to see if I could do some ice climbing but there was no ice. This winter has been too warm. It is a beautiful place and worth a visit!

It's an easy drive to Rifle Falls and the falls are always pretty to see, Several hiking trails around the area make for a nice break. Lots of picnic spots available, too.

Today I drove out to Rifle Falls, Rifle, Colorado. It is located on the western slope of Colorado. Turn off I-70 at Rifle (north) on Hwy 13 and follow the signs. You will make a right turn off Hwy 13 and go approximately 11 miles on a country 2 lane road. This trip is quite beautiful itself. The falls are located in Rifle State Park (entry fee). Park just inside the park and walk approximately 1 to 2 blocks to the falls. They are quite beautiful with snow all around them. You can drive up the road about 1 mile to the "Raparian" area. There is a parking area. Here a stream falls over rocks from higher up and then continues to the falls. There is a small bridge to cross the stream and you can walk around this beautiful area (no fee)

I go to Rifle Falls quite a bit...It is unique and quite beautiful! On this particular trip, I brought my parents who were in their 80's. Though they have traveled a lot in their lifetime, they would never be up to a huge hike...Rifle Falls was a perfect choice - on a paved path, less than 1/4 mile away! The area is quite beautiful and the falls, themselves, beautiful! Earlier in the summer I was with more capable hikers - and we went to the caves at the top of the falls...Very worthwhile! I would also recommend visiting the Fish Hatchery and the Calypso Falls further down the road from the State Park.....note: there is no fee for the falls, but you will have to purchase a Colorado State Park pass to get to the trailhead.

I spent a few hours this afternoon at the Rifle Falls State Park. This park is a camping area and is fairly small. The Falls are really very beautiful and it is popular with young families. There are spots to camp, BBQ and Picnic. We were fishing for trout today- gorgeous water and you can see lots of fish but we were skunked - all the fishermen left the same way. This is a great spot for an hour or so and the Falls are nice. Being a Canadian and having Niagara Falls in my back yard it is hard to compare Rifle- but it is worth a visit if you are in the area.

Kicking ourselves for not visiting Rifle Falls the last time we stayed in Rifle Co a couple years ago. Totally worth the short drive. I was expecting to have to hike a bit, but the falls are very close to the parking lot. They're very pretty and not busy if you go early. We also went on Sunday evening and it was busy, so morning was best for us. If we get back to the West side of Colorado, we'll definitely visit again.

Going in Sept has its advantages, most everyone is your age, fewer people at attractions. No lines for the bathrooms and plenty of parking spaces. We were the only ones here on our visit, it was a lovely day, Since it had rained recently the falls were flowing and splashing.Just a lovely place to set and reflect or eat lunch.

This was beautiful and very enjoyable because we walked around the falls and above them stopping to explore the caves and to check out the view from different angles. It was the perfect time of year to enjoy the area.

Interesting feature for Rifle, well worth the drive north of town. The falls have several spills and you can walk under the falls, too. Look it's the back side of water!

We were pleasantly surprised at how spectacular the falls are. There are actually several falls coming down in close proximity after a short, easy walk from the parking area. The parking area is small so it could be full on busy days. We took the short hike up and over the falls and got to see some interesting limestone caves (none were very big), interpretive signs and beautiful scenery. Take a flashlight for the caves by the way. Entrance is worth the $7 fee, and the pass is good for 24 hours at any State Park.

This a great falls and riparian zone in a quiet corner of the state. This is classic Western Slope Colorado valley scenery. It's drier and the verdant greenery is alluring. It can be very crowded on summer weekends. It is not in the Colorado high country. It is part of the Colorado River basin and represents a different and lovely ecosystem. It is more arid and more like the high desert away from the water and falls. I'm so pleased that this area was saved from development and recognized for its value as a state park. The staff was very pleasant as well.
