场地不错，但是有点远。因为从阿斯蓬那头过去要1个半小时最快，所以就算是便宜不少，去的人也不多。另外他们的服务不错，很热情很有耐性。

Not only is this an amazing golf course but the views are spectacular ! My husband has played courses in Hawaii and the Golden Horseshoe and he says he has never played a more beautiful and fun course. We had a blast playing this course!

This golf course is one of the most fun I've ever played. Not a classic design, the course runs up, down and through several canyons and is an excellent test of golf with lots of elevation changes and challenging choices for different players. But you have to hike to the back tees for a bunch of WOW sights even if you don't play them. Apparently the course was intended as the centerpiece of a housing development that crashed, yet, the small staff was very helpful and professional. Plus, the course is in very good shape. It's just plain fun to play.

This is one of the best golf courses in America! Nothing like, intact nothing can compare. Very nice town, if I could move there I would!

I loved the course and local knowledge would help. The views are great and each hole was totally different. The greens were great and we had fun with them. I would play it again just be prepared to climb up hills to some of the greens. With this being new they were a little short on staff but the pro was great and so was Jonathan.

Firstly, the comments regarding the views are right. It is a beautiful course. But this course is NOT worth $99. The greens were not as well kept as expected for the price. And the beautiful view does not make up for the issues that we encountered. I used a groupon deal for this reservation, and could not book it through their website. I called for 5 days straight, left 3 messages and never received a call back. I finally got a hold of a young lady on a Sunday morning. After telling her about the issues and lack of response we had, she apologized. 2 days later, I got a call back from someone at the club, trying to make my reservation. I told them I already had one. He said, "Oh ok," and hung up without another word.The clubhouse is located a mile away from the course, at the bottom of the residential area. We walked in and there was no one around. After a few minutes, a guy came out, completely ignored me and talked to my husband. He was very abrupt, like we had taken him away from something else. He asked if I would also be playing or riding along. I said riding along and he stated there was a $25 fee! I asked why that wasn't posted anywhere on their website and he shrugged. We have been to several courses around the country and we have never had to pay a "ride along" fee. The fee cost almost as much as the round of golf! He didn't tell us anything other than to head up the hill and find Craig, who would get the cart. I asked where we picked up the rental clubs, and he ignored me until my husband asked. Once we got up the hill, Craig was no where to be found. After walking around for 5 minutes, we saw a guy putting. I began to walk towards him and he got in a golf cart and came towards us and he yelled "Hey where are you going?". I asked if he knew where the first hole was and he said yes. Nothing more. I then asked if he knew who Craig was, and again he simply answered yes. I asked if he was Craig and he turned around and talked to my husband. Craig didn't provide any information. He didn't ask if he would like to use the driving range or putting green. When we looked through the clubs, there were several clubs missing and 2 that were the same. As soon as he dropped off the cart, he went back to the putting green and started practicing. This is a big No-No! On top of it, he was eating while putting. (SEE PICTURE BELOW.)One of the water stations was empty. We only saw the course marshal one time, and there were several issues he could have resolved with the two pairings in front of us. We played the course in 3 hours and 45 minutes. There was no restroom on the course; you had to go back to the clubhouse a mile away. For being one of the top 5 courses in Colorado, we expected a lot more. We have never seen a premier course where the carts were not in a covered area. Nor does this level of customer service come anywhere close to a premier location.

We played this course on a summer Monday, and but for the singles we let play through, we felt like we had the course to ourselves. The layout of the course on the mountain terrain is imaginative genius -- every single hole was beautiful. Beware the 18th hole -- way too difficult and the only downside of the round (besides no clubhouse and permanent restrooms). Can't wait to see the facilities built and finished -- way too nice a course to be run off a desk in the temporary office. The staff was friendly and warm, the course is just a short drive from Glenwood, and well worth the time.

I really expected Lakota Canyon to be the highlight of my summer. It's in the top five for public courses in Colorado according to Golf Magazine, and that list has served me well in the past. In this case, however, not so much.First, let me say that the course is beautiful. Literally, you could take a photo of every hole and hang it on your wall. The scenery truly is something to behold. The layout is also challenging - you won't have the same shot twice, and the changes in elevation and wind conditions throughout the course can make it a demanding test of your game.Lakota Canyon's customer service on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. I called to make a tee time a week in advance, and the person on the other end assured me I could get all 18 holes in as there was no one scheduled in front of me. Great, I thought. I was really excited to play this course!...Until I got to the clubhouse the day of my tee time and was told that I probably wouldn't be able to get all 18 holes in due to men's and women's league play starting at 5:30 PM. My tee time was 3:40. First, why wasn't I told this a week prior? Second, isn't $69 a lot to pay for a round you might not get to complete? Third, what the heck is a course of this supposed caliber doing with league play at all?Anyway, someone else told the guy behind the desk I should be able to get 18 in, so I paid and went out to the starter lot. The starter sent me out on the back nine first so that when I ran into the league, I'd be on the front nine where the women would be and they'd likely let me play through. I wanted to play the entire course without the possibility of not being able to finish, so I practically raced around. I got to my second-to-last hole and ran into my first group of league players. The men, not the women. Not what I was told. After telling me the clubhouse had no business letting me out that late, they somewhat reluctantly let me play through. They still had six minutes until they were scheduled to start according to my cart's GPS clock. I finished that hole and got to the next one where I got a similar ear full. This foursome let me through, as well, although they talked the whole time I was swinging. Not cool.I also just noticed their scorecard has all kinds of advertising on it, which is not something I've seen on the scorecards of other courses in this price range. In fact, this was one of the most expensive rounds I've ever played. I've played some great courses, numerous on Golf Magazine's and Golf Digest's top 100 lists, but they've all had more reasonable twilight rates and far better customer service than I received here.I'll also add that it's been more than a week since I contacted the golf course with my issues and have yet to hear anything from them. It's like they just don't care.All told, this was the worst money I've ever spent on a golf course. If you book, prepare to be blown away by the breathtaking views while being equally frustrated by their terrible customer service. If I'm back in the area again, I will find another course that takes better care of their golfers. Very disappointed.

The golf course is great but there are really no facilities there yet, so you are talking port-a-potties, water every third hole and no food cart at least on Mondays. That made sense because we had the course to ourselves. About six holes in we were caught by a single who we let play through, that was the only other golfer we saw until we finished. The front nine is where it is really beautiful with wonderful views. The golf course has a lot of blind shots where you can't see where you end up after the shot. The hills on the sides help errant shots to trickle down to the rough by the fairways in several instances. The rolls in the fairways can be impressive as well because of the grades. I have a golf coupon book so we got two rounds with cart for $99. There are parts of the course that are confusing like number 18. That is probably the worst hole layout I have ever played. It is a par 6 for women and par five for men crisscrossing winding ravines. The GPS system isn't that helpful with simple text messages and no graphical maps of the holes. I have played the course once or twice over the last five years and my wife never. It seemed like half the holes we would find the T-box (not always easy since they sometimes spread out over three different elevations spanning 75 yards) and turn and ask each other "we are hitting to where?"

A very good and fun golf course. It did not need to take five and a half hours on Sunday the 8th of September when you have a tee time around 10am.

The golf course provides amazing views of the surrounding mountains and is a memorable mountain golf experience. Overall, the course was in great shape. The greens were fast and rolled true. The fairways were also in excellent condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The layout is fun, but also ridiculous in places. Golf purists will not appreciate the bowled greens or banked fairways. The elevated tee boxes are great, but almost over the top. The whole course feels as if the designer was trying a bit too hard.They do provide some discounted rates which makes the course a better value, otherwise I feel the course is overpriced considering the lack of amenities. The "GPS" on the carts is equivalent to having a range finder and I found the course map on the scorecard to be less than accurate. They do offer a yardage book for $5, but it contains the least amount of detail I have ever seen. Also, I found the advertisements on the GPS systems to be very annoying. It makes you feel as if you are watching an infomercial while playing golf. It very much cheapened the experience.Also, there were two water coolers on the course, both of which were empty. There were also multiple areas around greens that were not mown properly. (large patches of grass not mown, uneven cuts) These are things that should not happen at a course charging their rates. Overall, this is a fun course that provides great views and a unique layout. It could be taken to the next level with a little additional capital, but most importantly through better management.

This course is one of the best looking courses I have ever seen and I would put it in the top 5 courses I have ever played. Absolutely stunning scenery and well maintained. Great rates are available on golfnow.com as well. Thank you Lakota Canyon staff for making our golfing getaway enjoyable.

What a fantastic mountain course. Played there in May on a beautiful day with no-one on the course and it was spectacular. Worth every penny. It's simply one great hole after another.

Beautifully kept golf course set in the mountains. Surrounded by forest and beautiful mountain homes. Appears that maintenance if number 1 as workers were visable throughout the game but not in the way of play. Certainly has challenges for those that are good golfers but yet enjoyable to the weekend golfer. Permanent clubhouse is set to breakground beginning of Sept. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

The front nine is spectacular, as many of the tee boxes are high up with spectacular views. The canyons allow you to be alone. The course is very challenging and quite serene.
