We loved all the goodies (and there were a LOT!) that we picked up at this roadside stand! We really liked tasting the different juices and ciders. We all left with a big jug of juice! My son's favorite were the cherry gummy bears and I really loved the mooseberry syrup. This place is a must if you're in the area. A sweet bonus while visiting the beautiful Rockies! Can't wait to go back!

New batch of homemade cherry pies just being delivered as we arrived. Absolutely delicious and a large dip dish pie. Also their pickled beets were unusual, sweet and a hint of clove taste. Close to Loveland, Colorado. Also sells jams, 100% cherry juice. Picnic tables outside.

We were traveling from Denver & we happened upon this place. We had to stop because places like this are right up our alley. Yummy pie & goodies. Perfect place to stop for a juice & a snack. Took some stuff to share at home with our family. Staff was very friendly & gave us a sticker as a souvenir!

We drove by here enroute from Estes Park to Loveland and decided to stop because my husband's favorite pie is cherry - of course, they have many other varieties of pies as well as cider made from any number of fruits. The cherry pie is the only one I can comment on since that is what each of the 3 of us had - and it is GOOD. The views out of the windows along one whole side of this spot are wonderful and, if not occupied, you can as long as you like and view the mountains. In fact, it's one of the few views that doesn't still show a whole lot of the devastation caused by last Sept's flood of the area. What is still left to observe is a whole lot of rock and water damage caused by those floods - it will never resemble what the St. Varian area looked like before this flood, but hopefully it will return to being a beautiful drive along a lovely river - right now that is difficult to imagine. SAD is the word that comes to mind and certainly people's lives and homes were displaced and destroyed (that can still be seen) and roadways are still under reconstruction.

We stopped here last Saturday just to check it out and we're very happy we did. Excellent cherry (and some other berries) products. We bought the black bing juice and a pie. The pie was absolutely fabulous. Stop in on your way to Rocky Mountain National Park. It's right on Hwy. 34 just west of Loveland a couple of miles into Big Thompson River canyon.

I love the Cherry store. We always stop on our way to or from Estes Park traveling on Hwy 34. They have Muskedine jelly there which is hard to find. Their cherry jams and jellies are really good. They do sell slices of Cherry Pie at the counter but it is not very good. Friendly staff, plenty of parking and very quaint.

I always stop by the Colorado Cherry Company as I head toward Estes park. This is a great family place that is kid friendly- delicious ice creams. You can sit and eat with a breath taking view. You can sit outside as well. You can have beer, wine pizza or other light fare. The Colorado Cherry Company's items are also sold frozen. There is an enormous variety of canned goods and preserves from all types of fruits and vegetables. I bought some sour cherry juice and it was really sour but delicious. The Chef in me loves these finds. I love this place and the owners and staff are helpful and friendly. I never leave without some type of cherry jam or pie for the road.Be sure to visit - you will be very glad you did.

On our way home from the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park we decided to stop at the Colorado Cherry Company to help the local economy now recovering from the disastrous flooding experienced earlier this year. Highway 34 had recently opened after an extended closure, so our stop was more of a charitable nature since business have been suffering for many months of road closure. Well this stop turned out to be a fantastic discovery on our part. The cherry pie we purchased was by far the best I've ever eaten. As long as I keep working out and spend time on the treadmill we will be sure to stop more often and try the other baked products offered.

Today (9/14/13) the Colorado Cherry Company is posting updates on facebook about the major flooding happening in the area, and I so appreciate their information. So far they are fine and people are being evacuated to them on the way out of Big Thompson Canyon.Big Thompson Canyon is an extraordinary drive, with towering cliffs and rushing water off to the side. It's one of the paths from the east into Estes Park and thence Rocky Mountain National Park, and it's just gorgeous. Don't miss it for the breathtaking grandeur and the occasional animal sightings, including elk, bighorn sheep and bears. The Colorado Cherry Company features tons of food items made with -- you guessed it -- cherries. Jams, jellies, pies, candy, fudge, syrups, sauces... the whole gamut of delectable delights with cherries as an ingredient. Oh, I forgot juices, chocolate, preserves, soda... Plus souvenirs. I got a great t-shirt died with cherry juice! There are two outlets in Northern Colorado, one in Big Thompson Canyon west of Loveland on Highway 34 and one on Highway 36 outside of Lyons. Both stores are cute and inviting, the merchandise is affordable, and the personnel are friendly. Who could ask for anything more?

This roadside stand on the way down to Estes from Loveland is a sister store to their Lyons location. While this one does not serve sandwiches and what not, they do sell their pies which is worth every bit of the $16.They have the usual assortment of Chukar Cherries, jams, sweets and the like.

We love our trips to the states not just for the breath taking scenery, animals, wide open roads and great people but also because there are so many treats to seek out each time we come back. One of my favourite treats has to be Cherry Pie as I adore Cherries so you can imagine my delight when I found Colorado Cherry were close to Estes Park where we were staying. Colorado Cherry make a Cherry pie that is well worth breaking any diet for as it is absolutely delicious. The pastry is light, crisp and flaky and the filling is sublime, we bought a large one with little hearts in a circle on the top for around $17 which easily lasted four sittings for the two of us; it was gorgeous! They sell lots of drinks and preserves as well and I thoroughly enjoyed the bottle of Cherry drink we bought which was really tasty - I even found a relatively Low carb Cherry jam so I bought one of those to bring back with me as its not easy to find anything like that where we live in the UK.My one regret is that when we left Estes Park we had a really long drive up to the Yellowstone and the Teton's so we left very early that morning, passing through Loveland before 8 am and the Loveland store doesn't open until 9 am so we couldn't get another pie for the drive, as I really fancied trying the apple - oh well gives us another excuse to return to the Rockies; not that we needed one :-)There are two branches of Colorado Cherry, the original is on the road that goes through the Big Thompson Canyon in Loveland and there is a second, apparently recently opened in Lyons. We didn't get time to try both of them but since it's the same company I am guessing the pies are the same so if you are near either they are well worth a look in.Sorry no picture of the pie - we couldn't wait to try it so the last thing we thought of was taking a picture but hopefully someone else will post one
