For the price ($69 per), I expected much better food. It was too salty and too small. Drinks and dessert and appetizers are not included in the ticket price so we ended up with another bill at the end for $50. A total of $200 for the 2 of us. The play was great, wonderful talented actors, good directing. The dining area was clean, spacious, very well done. Parking easy and close. Very fun but expensive evening.

A Very Nice Dinner Theater with very talented actors and actresses! The plays change about every three months and you can pay for a single play and dinner or buy season tickets! The food is good. It is spendy, probably be best to buy season tickets. But, if you are travelling through on I25, close to Ft. Collins, CO. on a weekend, it would be worth your time to take in!

This was our 1st visit & won't be out last. We enjoyed seeing Peter Pan - it was a great production in every way. The actors were our servers & we enjoyed the desert break with them too. Lots of children, they all seemed to enjoy the matinee in their costumes too. The menu was selected to match the show theme. We didn't upgrade our meals, enjoyed our selected entrees & drinks.

We attended a Saturday evening performance of Peter Pan, with dinner. The theatre production was nearly flawless: Excellent acting and costuming, smooth set changes, good dance choreography, excellent tech support with character microphones, lighting, orchestra support. Overall a very enjoyable theatre production. The food, on the other hand, was just acceptable. Of course, you don't go to a dinner theatre for a gourmet meal, but for the extra cost of the dinner, I was disappointed. My wife had the coconut encrusted tilapia and I had the Jamaican beef stew. Portion sizes of both the appetizers and the entrees were modest, shall we say, and nothing notable in the preparation/seasoning. However, the theatre production more than made up for the mediocre meal, and we both considered it a very enjoyable evening. We'll be back again, but maybe not for dinner.

My family and I saw 'Peter Pan' today at Candlelight and I remembered when I thought I might fly! Seeing Peter fly onto stage gave me goosebumps. Wendy and the Lost Boys were charming and Captain Hook was superb!! By turns threatening and funny. Kudos to the playhouse for making children fly!! The Caribbean style food was spicy and sweet with a touch of curry and I could have eaten the soup all week. We've been season ticket holders for almost 6 years now and not ever been disappointed; we're treated as old friends when we walk through the door. These are real people with real talent who take entertaining seriously but make it look easy. I can't wait for more.

The talent is top notch as are the shows however I have only been able to brave the Candlelight twice in 10 years because the food is awful...first time my daughter got food poisoning the second time the soup was so salty it burned our tongues and was not edible. In addition to that, our waiter was sick and "sniffled" over us and our food the entire time. My children still remember that night as, " oh yeah, the place with "sniffles" the waiter. Don't think that is how the Candlelight Playhouse would like to be remembered. We are a small county but I have encountered two additional acquaintances who can attribute food poisoning to a night out at the Candlelight. When the food improves, I will be back.

Took all 5 grandchildren to Peter Pan. Great performance of a classic play. Lead actress was outstanding and the dancing was spectacular. These are no amateurs. We have been season ticket holders at Candlelight for 3 years and have been very pleased with their offerings. The food is adequate and often quite good. Service is good especially considering that it is often the actors who are your servers. There is not a bad seat in the house and the staff has been helpful and flexible with every request.

The facilities were very nice and were not too far from any of the cities in the area. The actors and actresses were very good. There was a lot of great chemistry on stage. The food was very good and the service was as well. All in all it was a great show and dinner. I would recommend it to friends.

My husband and I took our grandchildren to see Peter Pan at the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. The wait staff/actors were excellent and attentive. One grandson has a gluten allergy and they were very accomodating to it. The food was average. Small portions and main course seemed warmed from frozen package. The play and actors were excellent in every way. The offending part was the way native americans were portrayed in the play. Realizing that it was a fairy tale, BUT, in this day and age there has to be another way of expressing the culture without offending people.

Dinner was delicious and the facility was clean and well appointed. Beautiful dining area, every seat would be a good one! Staff was very friendly and personable. Show was fun. Definitely want to do this again, just can't do it too often because of the cost involved.

I have been to the playhouse many times - the show is always great (some better than others) The food is good - service can be slow but, you are there to see a show so being in a hurry isn't needed. If you like prime rib, it is usually worth the extra money to get it (like $12.00) We have found that the piece has gotten smaller in size but, we have mentioned that and normally the server will look for a good piece for you.Lots of time and effort are put into getting these shows stage ready - so go and enjoy the evening!

As part of our weekend 47th wedding anniversary celebration we attended The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. This was our 5th play and dinner. We have always had the same consistent excellent service and meal.

My wife, son, and I were so excited to see Scrooge at the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse this Christmas. It was an honor to watch such a magnificent production of this classic. The performance was flawless, the dining experience, exceptional, and the memories we will carry for a lifetime, priceless. Thank you to every single person who worked so hard to bring tremendous joy to my family.

As much as I enjoy supporting the arts and local business, I was disappointed with the dinner. The upgraded entree was grizzly, the gravy was salty and the dessert not nearly as good as discribed. I would recommend ordering the salad as a main course. Let's just say the food was not impressive for the $$$.

My son (14) and I took my husband here for a birthday dinner and show. Dinner was good not enough for a growing teen but plenty for everyone else. Green beans were so so, Entrée of Sole was very good. Salmon(upgrade) was fresh and flavorful. The show "She Loves Me" was filled with very talented actors and actresses. The range of their voices was definitely a wonderful thing to listen to. I was reminded of Julie Andrews in the "Sound of Music". My son was a bit bored - not used to musicals, but my husband and I were thoroughly entertained and will definitely be back for another play sometime. Worth the price.
