This is hands down the best model train/museum I have ever seen. So amazing, you have to see it to believe it. Even if you don't think you are into this, you will be. The scavenger hunt (hidden dinosaurs!) is tons of fun too!

The scavenger hunt makes it more interesting for kids, and the Thomas the Train display for the little ones was a great idea. Incredible attention to detail throughout. Our family loves it.

From the inception, this has been a great place to go with all ages. We watched it develop into the show place it is now. So many volunteers have put hundreds of hours into making this a delightful museum. Time for us to go again!

The Model Train museum is an amazing experience! You will spend hours - even if you're not a "train person" I promise!! Kids and adults should ALL play the "I-spy" game.

My grandfather had model trains when I was a young child. My Mom was a volunteer helper in this museum. Husband & I with my parents enjoyed a wonderful time seeing all the trains. Beautiful setting. Great family fun place to visit.

...at this wonderful museum! Run by volunteers, these model train enthusiast will take their time to show you the best model train museum I have ever seen! An entire warehouse is dedicated to this endeavor, and well worth the drive from just about anywhere in the front range. Kids (of all ages) will enjoy the scavenger hunt.

This is one of the best model train set-ups in the country. I have taken many friends and family to see this amazing place. Kids LOVE IT! We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful train exhibit here in Greeley, CO

The outside of the building is very unassuming. But the INSIDE is absolutely amazing. If you like model trains (even a little bit) this is absolutely worth a visit. The staff are friendly, the sets are absolutely amazing. My dad and I used to build model railroad sets and ours were done with a lot of care and attention to detail and looked good. But our stuff compared to theirs is... not much. The complexity of the switching system, the volume of cars, length of track is all very impressive. If you're not amazed, I'd like to see the places that are better!

This is a wonderful museum for the whole family. The interactive nature of the trains and scenery gives everyone quite a bit to experience. Adults will be impressed with the remarkable details while children will delight in all of the movement laid out before them. Don't rush through it when you go.

if you don't enjoy this place you flat out need therapy! multiple displays of railroad associated items that were interesting to say the least.

I took my children here and was truly impressed. I can't imagine any age that wouldn't enjoy this museum. A lot of very impressive work has gone into this museum.
