Loved this quaint winery! The lady helping us was so warm and friendly! I just loved her smile! They had a small selection of wines, I especially enjoyed the pinot blanc (actually from woody creek cellars) and bought a bottle. But their port is what is truly amazing!! Must come for the port! Especially the white port! It is very light without that heavy syrupy flavor you get from others. We also bought a couple bottles of that as well.

Greystone is definitely the place for Port. The Port is tasty for Port lovers. Recently they found a "lost barrel" of 2004 Port I and they bottled it. The limited bottling is now available. Tasting room is quaint with an interesting gift shop with a great selection of cordial glasses for Port consumption.Small bottles of Port are pricey but well worth the indulgence.

We stopped on the way through from the Grand Canyon to Northern CO. The woman who was working was friendly and helped us to know what we wanted to try. (We're very inexperienced in wine-tasting.) I tried the ports and hubby tried wines that they pour and sell for other wineries. We got a bottle of Graystone white port and one of Black Bridge Marcellina Riesling. I was also tickled by the wide selection of bottle-stoppers in the gift shop portion of the building. We were a bit disappointed that it was just a tasting room and a gift shop. I was hoping to see grapevines. Still, I'd definitely recommend the Graystone to others. And the ports. All of them! Yum!

The entry is so beautiful. The lady pouring wine was very knowledgeable and very friendly. She recommended other places for us to go and we begged her to come with us. Huge plus that the port was amazing.

The lady who runs this place is so rude. We were trying to learn a little more about the winery and what it offers and she acted like we were really bothering her. I will never go back!

I have been stopping here for several years whenever I'm in the area. Their ports are very good. I especially enjoy the white port, which is hard to find. The inside of the winery is staged to look like an old port cellar. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic about their products. They are also knowledgeable about port in general. You may even get chocolate to go with your tasting.

We love the Port at Graystone Winery. We purchased 4 bottles before returning home after being in Palisade area for 5 months. The Port at Graystone was a step above the Two Rivers Winery and much better than ports attempted by other wineries.

While meandering trying to locate the infamous wine loop, I first came across Graystone as she was opening. Not one to pass up a taste of port, I tried two of the three amazingly tasty ports. The clerk was quite helpful, told me about the wine loop (where to find it, how to drive it, etc)., and then guided me into the gift shop. I sensed her disappointment when I did not purchase wine ($25 per bottle of port); and instead, bought two humorous drink coasters for friends. If you like port, this is a place you MUST stop! Note, it is only a tasting room w/giftshop. No vines on the premises.

Loved the interior of this winery. The gift shop is fabulous! I actually bought all of my bunco gifts here one year. A great variety of wine to sample, plus fantastic martini mix bags that are cleverly packaged and named.

Port is really what to try here. They have a yummy white port that was light and refreshing, unusual for a port. They also have a few wines they taste and sell for smaller wineries that have no tasting rooms.

I love that they use Raisin Brandy to fortify this wine! My husband thought he didn't like Port until he tried Graystones'!

If you love port, which I do, this is the place for you. Don't miss it. I ended up buying almost one of each. Can't wait to linger over each bottle. Mmmmmm.

If you like port wine this is the best. Friendly staff, greeted warmly. and the chocolate is to die for. bought some for Christmas gifts and wine to take back home, a must see when in this area. The gift shop is very eccentric.

My husband and I stopped into Graystone Winery after receiving a recommendation to try their port while at another winery. We found the wintery to be quaint and adorable. We were warmly greeted and during the tasting when we shared it was our honeymoon they offered to take our picture!! I have to admit that port is a favorite of my husband, but not high on my list. After our tasting at Graystone, I have changed my opinion!! We left with three bottles of port and some amazing balsamic vinegar from the gift shop. After reading some previous reviews, I think that they have someone new doing tastings. The woman who helped us was very nice and I would highly recommend not missing Graystone Winery while you're in Palisade. Even if port isn't high on your list, they may change your mind like they did mine.

The gift shop has a lot of items that you really don't need but are really cool! Many items are produced locally and a must try are the chocolates. Their "port" is by far the best I've had. Try it with a free chocolate sample and you'll be hookd.
