This is a short easy trail the displays several dinosaur and plant prints remaining in the rock faces. The trail is located adjacent to the Colorado School of Mining and you park in the paid lot to access the trail. On our visit parking was $1.25 and hour and 1 hour is plenty of time for this site.Worth a visit if you happen to be in the area. I would not go out of my way though.

Go to the museum first and get some information then hike to see the tracks, it's not a big site, but I thought it was neat.

An in and out walk - very easy but pretty cool to see dinosaur tracks right in front of you. Be certain to go down the little switchback to see the hadrosaur prints which head right up the wall.

Short and cool, see and walk perpendicular to T-Rex's, Triceratops and other dinosaur trails, see their casted foot prints and imaging the size of such beasts. A must if staying in downtown Golden.

After visiting Dino Ridge, I drove out to the trailhead in Golden. This is a short, self-guided tour of fossils and Dinosaur tracks. Triceratops tracks are the highlight. This is an out and back trail, ended at a green for one of the golf courses. Unless a person knows about it, or gets directions at Dino Ridge, it is very difficult to find. This site is just a short drive from the Coors plant for a tour (and tasting).
