    非常漂亮,十块钱,完全值得。本来没想去的,后来看到那边的地貌突然就很起兴。送完陈伯伯坐飞机,反正还有一个下午时间,就看看。然后壮观,雄伟,足够来形容了。

My daughter and I stopped there while waiting for my husband who had a business meeting. I was amazed at the beauty and never would have guessed it was there.

Someday to become a small National Park. Interesting drive. If you have ANY fear of heights, do enter on the Fruita side--you will be on the inner lane rather than the outer--which is like HUNDREDS OF FEET STRAIGHT OFF THE SIDE OF THE MESA just inches from your door. No guardrails, either.

We decided to visit Colorado National Monument because we were having a stopover night in Grand Junction and it was something to do. We had read recommendations on here but it was still much more than we expected - an over-twenty mile drive along the top of a large rock formation with numerous different smaller rock formations and a good view of Grand Junction. We stopped at several of the overlooks and would like to have done some walking but it was extremely hot (something we hadn't expected, having spent a couple of weeks in the mountains in Colorado). Definitely worth a few hours if you are in the area.

Beautiful natural formations and landscape. We even saw a herd of big horn sheep on the side of the road and were able to get some excellent photos. We have never seen the area crowded and the place is great for picnics and children.

Just one of Colorado's many natural Beauties. This area offers adventure for the novice to the backcountry hiker. A must see!

I could not believe that canyons, rock cliffs and walls like these existed around this area. It was easy to make the drive around it and to stop and take photos along the way. The Visitor's Center has very good exhibits and even a short movie to tell about the history of the area, wildlife and others interesting information. There are camping sites available for Rv's and plenty of trails for hiking.

Lots of lookouts with great views. Most trails are strenuous but there are a few easier hikes. All we tried were worth the effort.

It is beautiful! Nice drive best in the warmer weather could be tricky with snow. They have an awesome ranger center with an interactive learning room and souvenirs for purchase. Pack a lunch or snacks, restroom available at ranger center(not sure of exact name)

I've never been to the Grand Canyon, but I'm told the Colorado Monument is a smaller version. It was certainly impressive enough and made for a great 60-minute side trip just driving around. It's close to I-70 and not too scary to sightsee and drive. GIve it a try.

Not as gorgeous as the Tetons or Yellowstone, but this park has it's own style and great views. Youi simply pay 10 bucks and enjoy the scenery. It starts off slow, but picks up in the middle and I found myself not being able to stop pulling over and taking photos. If you want to go back to GJ after the trip, just uturn and track back instead of taking freeway.

Spectacular views along the main road, which is called Rim Rock Drive. Towering monoliths, sheer walled red rock canyons, Independence Monument, the Coke Ovens, the Kissing Couple, Grand Valley, the Book Cliffs, and a great view of the world's largest flat top mountain: The Grand Mesa. Convenient to Grand Junction and Fruita. Very close. Spend the whole day, or just drive through. Driving through takes about an hour. Hiking. A lot of bicyclists. Rock climbing. Worth it and memorable. Lots of photo opportunities. Mother Nature's talent on full display.

This is now one of our favorite national park. It was our first visit and we didn't know what to expect but it sure exceed our expectations. It's not visited like other parks like the Arches Nat'l Park or the Grand Canyon whom at this days are so crowded that you can be lucky if you had the chance to visit them in the 80's and 90's. Anyway we spent a whole day in this amazing park. We entered from the east entrance coming from Grand Junction. The scenery is breathtaking, there has great hiking to go. The scenic drive has also lot of great views but please stop your car and take a walk wherever you can. There are lot of parking lots along the scenic road. We also stopped to 2 picnic areas. The first was the Devils Kitchen area near the east entrance, the second was near the west entrance at Saddlehorn. We will sure come here again!

We like visiting early in the morning. We find that the sunrise makes some great shadows on the monument. We also see more wildlife early in the morning.

Breath taking views no matter where you stop! You need to go all seasons because every time you go it's like a brand new view. It constantly changes like the weather.
