Look forward to summer and taking my 2 daughters there again! We have made it a tradition to visit every summer. Its also neat to be able to see our house from up there. The view of the city is the only way to view the city...from up here in lovely Cascade and the North Pole.

This was a nice little stop on our way to Pike's Peak. It's an amusement park geared toward your children. We stopped and browsed the gift shop which was not very impressive. For a place called the North Pole, one would expect lots of Christmas stuff but it was just a bunch of everyday trinkets.

I went as a child and took my children for many years. It is a fabulous family friendly place. You can take your food in, you use a tab system instead of money and pay when you leave. It is rarely crowded, the rides are fun, the shops are interesting, Santa is the "real deal" and you can stay as long as you want!

Something for everybody. Rides ranged from small cars for small children to a zip line for bigger kids (no matter your age, you feel like a kid when you enter). Rest rooms strategically placed for when a child says "I gotta go, now". The train ride was enjoyed by the whole family. There is a lot of walking up and down hills, wear comfortable shoes. A good all day outing for the family, rides are included in the admission price. We spent four hours there and did not get to see everything. Check online, there a discount coupons available.

We took our four year old Granddaughter to the North Pole in the middle of September. She had the park to herself. The attendants made her feel like a princess. Santa gave her lots of time. She could ride every there except for the zip line. She had so much fun we went again two day later.

We took our daughter and grandchildren, 2 & 4, to North Pole Home of Santa's Workshop. We all had a wonderful time. The staff is terrific and ride safety was a priority. Prices are reasonable, especially using the buy one get one 1/2 off admission. In addition, 60+ and under 2 are free. The admission price includes everything in the park except concessions and gift shops, which are sensibly priced. We arrived at the 10 a.m. opening time, fully expecting to leave by 2 p.m. for the children’s nap time. Everyone had so much fun, we stayed past 4 p.m. Of course, Santa is the BEST! A hint: if you arrive at opening, move past the rides and go directly to Santa’s House. We didn’t have a line early; however, Santa’s house had a long line later in the day. Our previous visit to the North Pole was 30 years ago when we took our daughter and it is still a magical and memorable place for the entire family, young and old.

We didn't go with kids, but this is a great place for families. My friend sent a letter from the North Pole to her grandson from Santa. Great affordable shopping for Christmas items and even Hanukkah items. There are rides for the kids and there is even a Santa.

The park is staffed with the nicest people and Santa is the best. If you are looking for an electric Disneyland experience, this is not the place. It has been around for a long time and it looks like it. These are old time rides and attractions and my 2 year old grandson loved every minute of it. He was big enough to ride everything he wanted to and that saves the "not tall enough" disappointment. The concessions and gift shops are down right cheap. There was no lines even though the parking lot was full. Many of the staff are older people who are just great with the kids. Highly recommend.

We went to Santa's workshop the day before Thanksgiving. It was cold but sunny. All the rides were open and the kids had a great time. The little ones got to see Santa and sit on his lap. I would recommend this place any time of the year the price is good and there is a lot to do and see. They will let you take in your own food. But their food is reasonably priced. The downside was we had to eat out in the cold by a propane heater for lunch. Not a lot of inside space for a meal.

We took our son to the North Pole Santas Workshop on our way up Pikes Peak. Thinking it was just a gift shop with Santa and elves. When we arrived there we figured out it was something else entirely. Promising our son we would go we decided to check it out anyways. I did manage to find a coupon for 3 dollars off from the North Pole website. Even with that it came out to be 54 dollars for some carnival amusement rides. I don't think that it is fair to charge the adults 21 dollars per person in order to go in and watch your children have fun. To me that seems like a rip off. The only redeeming quality to me is that my son had a really good time and went on every ride.

My husband and I took our 6-yr-old daughter for the first time today. We used a BOGO coupon from the Colorado Springs entertainment book and saved $21, plus we downloaded an additional $3 coupon from the North Pole website. We were impressed with the rides available. Definitely geared toward kids, but several of them made our stomachs flip. The ferris wheel, which is the "highest in the world," really moves fast. There is no cash exchanged in the park, so vendors write the total of your purchases on your ticket, which you are required to present to exit the park, whether you bought anything or not. There are plenty of food vendors plus you are allowed to bring your own coolers of food if you like.

I wanted my grand kids, 7 and 9, to have some fun but also took their mom and my other daughter and my wife. As we are 60+, my wife and I got in free, and the coupon I downloaded from the web gave $3 off the other 4 $21.00 admissions. Everything in the park is included except food and gifts. There are all kinds of rides from ferris wheels to slides to car rides, magic shows and of course Santa. We all had a great time. This time of year be sure to bring warm clothes as the temperature drops quickly in the afternoon.

I have a 7 year old son that "requested" to go here for his 7th birthday. This park is older (built around 1950) and has 20-30 attractions so it's much smaller than those we were used to in Ohio like King's Island and Cedar Point. He had an absolute blast as many of the rides had no lines so he could ride his favorites over and over again! For a trip down memory lane, a fund day for the youngsters or Christmas lovers this is a great place to visit!

My sister, daughter and I went to the North Pole a couple weeks ago and had the absolute best time!!! since I had taken my kids there in the early 90's only seemed right to get the third generation there too. My granddaughter is 4 and she enjoyed the kiddie rides and all aspects of the park. We arrived just at opening and we were met by Santa. What a fantastic man! He visited with us, ask my granddaughters name and told us to be sure and visit him in his house in awhile. An hour or so later we made our way to Santa and he called my granddaughter by name!! We were so impressed! He spoke with each child, spending time with each one -a very caring man He ask my granddaughter which Barbie she wanted, talked about Frozen with her and i was sure this had to be the real Santa. He was very schooled in the latest toys, movies and what was happening with kids today. Was a very memorable day and wish i could do it again. concession prices very reasonable as were shirts & other items. A great place to visit!!Thanks for a wonderful day!

My wife came here when she was a child on a family trip. The place has been around since the 50’s and they have a large amusement park with plenty of rides for children. It’s all Christmas themed and quite inviting. The gift shop has plenty of selections. We were looking for ornaments and there were plenty to choose from. The place also provides a service to have a letter from Santa if you are interested. It’s an easy drive. The shop is at the foot of Pikes Peak and the elevation is only about 7500 feet but if you are not used to the altitude – be sure to bring water and hydrate. So, you can come as adults and just shop and watch the children have fun or you can bring your little ones and enjoy the amusement park.
