    这个课程的选址因为比较远离阿斯蓬,所以很多费用都比在阿斯蓬的低很多。场地还不错,但就是教学工具的没在阿斯蓬那边那么好,另外教练就都差不多。

Tried to play Iron Bridge and got soaked. Went back to house changed clothes watched some football and the rains stopped. Got to River Valley Ranch at about 2PM Sunday afternoon and there was hardly anyone around so a group of 8 teed it up. Course was in great shape and very scenic. The drainage was impressive handling all the rain in the morning but still very playable.

We showed up for our 1030 tee time only to find out we had arrived on the wrong day. There was a shotgun under way and we had a tee time - for the following day! Despite the ongoing tournament, Aldon the pro at the course, looked at the GPS aNd found a hole where we could fit into. After being escorted out we proceeded to play eighteen of the most beautiful golf holes we had ever played. The course is fair but challenging. As a group, we've played many courses throughout Colorado and found it to be one of the best we had encountered. The condition was immaculate and played fast and fair. To a man we loved the course. Many thanks to Aldon and his staff. They turned a mistake on our part into a memorable day of golf.

Lots better golf courses around. Unfriendly staff that seems to change every week or month, greens filled with unrepaired ball marks, hardpan with a thin cover of sand in many bunkers etc. etc. Fairways and rough are very unevenly irrigated. Practice green littered with dozens of range balls all day so can hardly be used to practice putting unless you want to tidy up yourself. Course design is great for walking, but you have to pay for a cart whether you want it or not, and no effort made to mow paths where walkers would go. Very scenic, but course has been allowed to become nothing more than an ordinary muni in recent years.

Can't tell from clubhouse but this course is beautiful. Fun to play. Not too hard not too easy. Their restaurant has amazing food. We went for dinner one night & lunch the next day after golf. Be sure & sit outside.

There is a new restaurant open called Finnbar's Irish Pub. The view from the patio of the golf course and Mt. Sopris is "epic", as they say here. I can attest that we had some of the best fish tacos and fish n' chips I have ever tasted. In fact, the best fish and chips I have had in many years. The service was great and they have a flatscreen tv if you want to watch sports.

Well maintained and scenic course, lot's of length if you want to play from the back. Nice restaurant/bar available after your round.

The course is in great shape and provides excellent scenery throughout the round. True GPS systems are included on the carts, as well as a cooler filled with ice. Range balls are included and the practice area is good. Course layout is fair, yet challenging.

beautiful golf course, views are amazing--good staff that has apparently forgotten twhat a customer is or how to treat them-bad

This is a gorgeous course and well maintained. GPS on the carts is a big plus. However, my favorite part was the amazing ham urged at lunch and a drink after my round on the patio with stunning views of the mountains.

New owners, new feel, and rates that are reasonable. Would like to see the cart girl for refreshments during the round. Love the new restaurant.

This is the second time I've played here during a holiday week. I like to walk and I like to play fast. The pro shop staff was dubious when I said I wanted to walk, but they didn't force me to take a cart. The course is easily walkable - there are 3 or 4 holes with a bit of a hike between green and tee, but nothing too bad. They clearly don't get many walkers, though, as there are no "short cuts" through high grass or over streams - you have to circle around and follow the cart path. The signage is also pretty poor - unless you're in a cart with a GPS unit. Still - I didn't get lost and was able to play 18 in a little under 3 hours (one very generous foursome in carts graciously let me play through - even giving me a lift to my drive so I could move on that much quicker). The course was in excellent condition in early July. The whole course was lush. The greens were green - and true (no blotchy rough sections you see on so many courses). One complaint - their greenskeeper needs to monitor the fairway sprinklers - the fairways were so wet my drives hardly rolled at all. On a number of fairways I got a "free drop" because even in the middle of the fairway there was standing water. And the sand traps have sand in them, but after about an inch of sand you hit the miserable "wet concrete sand" that pretty much makes blasting out impossible. One final recommendation - put jugs of water out. I guess if you're in a cart you can lug around a half dozen bottles, but I saw only one drinking fountain on the whole course (on the back nine). All that being said - if I lived in the area, I would play here regularly. The course is challenging without being impossible. You play across / near the river on numerous holes - so there is natural beauty. And Mt Sopris lurks in the background on a number of holes. Sort of like taking a hike while playing golf! What more can you want in Colorado?

Our contact in Snowmass told us this was a popular destination. After playing this average public course for $100/head we could not understand the recommendation. It is in okay shape but there is nothing distinctive about it. It is relatively short, in average condition, there is no water for players, and the restroom is after the first hole! We did not see a ballwasher and there was no refreshment cart. The kids that work in the pro shop and the restaurant are friendly enough, but for us that was small consolation after driving 30+ miles from Snowmass. We could have played right outside the door of the Viceroy and saved the aggravation of trying to find it and then being disappointed. For a local muny it's okay, but nothing about this experience made us want to return.

This is a public course with a resort feel. Nice service people to greet you and take your clubs from your car and clean them up after your round. Great GPS system on the carts. Fabulous Restaurant in the clubhouse, which serves lunch at the turn. They also allow you to stop for lunch and then get you back out on the tenth tee. I highly recommend this course.

Who would've thought a sports-oriented subdivision could have a top-drawer restaurant as part of the package? Excellent food and lovely views.
