The beer selections are fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and made you feel welcome. You can sample the different drafts and find the one that is right for you. the outdoor garden section needs a little face lift. The did have a fire pit because the day was cold but it did show signs of heavy use and little run down.

A group of us meet there recently and had a really goo time. I am more of a wine drinker however they helped me find a nice light beer to meet my tastes. My husband likes a stout and they did not have exactly what he was looing for however they had a very good substitute. The Beer Market does not have food however they allow a food truck to come on site. The Market is dog friendly so we took are big dog and he had a blast too! There are ample places outside to sit, games to play and a nice area inside for a large group. The service was fine, they were busy and were checked by undercover police that night to make sure all ID's checked..so don't forget your ID! They passed , by the way... That did make for an eventful moment or two!! You can not purchase beer for anyone in your group, they have to show ID and get it themselves. Keep that in mind when you bring your pet.The Beer Market takes credit cards.Like I said I am more of a wine drinker but don't let that stop you...it is still a fun place and they will work with you for a beer that will meet your tastes. I was able to taste a little before I settled on a drink.

You will not find a more enjoyable, friendly and fun place to have a brew in Knoxville. The selection of drafts is always varied and very tasty. They have a wide selection of bottled beer to purchase and take home (both craft and import). The staff is friendly and helpful. For those with dogs, this is THE place to take your four legged friend to hang out and have a brew. Very dog friendly! Whether you want to play cornhole in the warmer weather months, or hang out next to a warm fire when it is cool, the atmosphere at Bearden Beer Market is second to none. Unlike a similar indoor brew place where the attitude is very stuffy, the people here are genuine and friendly. Whether you are a college student, construction worker, professional or retired, you will feel right at home at Bearden Beer Market. This is the closest to a "Cheers" type bar environment, where everyone is nice and friendly. Great place to hang out and enjoy a brew!

an eclectic mix of locals - from college students and factory workers and professionals - can always be found. A rotating selection of great beers can be consumed in the remnants of an old garden center - always something interesting going on.

The beer market and garden is a great casual and cool place for a drink. In warmer weather the outside garden is bustling with interesting people and their pooches. I just went there in winter to buy a six and the lobby was full of folks sipping on the daily specials. I guess I thought it would be empty in winter and was pleasantly surprised. I stayed for a brew, had some nice conversations, and will go back any time of year.

Great place to enjoy some craft beer. The beer lineup changes daily so you will always have something different to try.

O.k., there are many good places to have a beer in Knoxville, but this is my favorite. It is very quaint - the beermarket is housed in a converted plant nursery, and the old buildings including greenhouses have essentially been maintained. They sell beers to go, both as kegs or growlers as well as bottles. They usually have 6-8 beers on draft - These vary from night to night (something new gets tapped whenever a keg runs out), so you never know what you will get. The have frequent special events, from celebration of a specific microbrewery to fairly authentic German Octoberfest (German beers only, and the kegs get tapped at 6 a.m. corresponding to the official opening of the festival at noon in Munich). You will not find regular food here - Sometimes there will be food trucks, sometimes somebody sets up and cooks, and otherwise you just order from one of the nearby food places (or bring your food). They are pet friendly, so bring your dog. Children are welcome and hopefully can be entertained by table tennis or corn-hole. The only minor problem is parking - This is difficult as they only have a small lot, but you can park at several of the neighboring businesses. We visit this place regularly - Cannot wait for them to open their own brewery they have been working on for a while.

Great selection on tap, and pretty good bottled variety. Selfishly, I'd like a better Belgian selection, but that's OK. If they read this, maybe they'll consider adding a Delirium or St. Bernardus ABT 12 or Duvel to the selection ;-). With the help of the friendly guy behind the bar, I found a really nice seasonal ale that really hit the spot. They are more than willing to let you sample a few. Give them an idea of stuff that you might normally enjoy, and they'll point you off in a few good directions. The place is tiny inside, with lots of outdoor (covered and uncovered) seating. super-casual. limited parking. Definite visit for the beer lover.

The guys and gals that work here really know their brews. I love this place; it reminds me of the many beer gardens in Portland or Eugene,OR and has a varied selection that spans the globe. Many lovely microbrews and a seasonal selection on tap that changes weekly. You can also order specialty kegs of your choosing with a little advanced notice. Highly suggest grabbing a pint and playing corn hole as the sun is setting.

Large very casual outdoor beer "garden." Not very garden like, but very popular hangout with lots of seating and tables. Pet friendly too. Can order in food or grab a couple pints and hit one of many nearby restaurants. Good beer selection in store, could use more taps for on site tho.
