We stopped in while touring Broadway. What a fantastic place. I can't remember the name of the female lead singer but the band was called Beach Boys. Absolutely Wonderful!!! We had such a great time that we stayed for quite awhile. We did end up ordering food there. We both had the pork chop sandwich which was good. The next time I want to try the fried bologna. The drinks were reasonable and the service great,

My wife and I went to Roberts after we had dinner at Jacks bbq next door . We were told there was a terrific band playing , The Don Kelley Band . Having never been to a honky tonk before we jumped at the chance . As a part time muso myself to say I was blown away is an understatement . The atmosphere and music was the best in our whole 6 weeks in America. If you go to Nashville , you HAVE TO GO to Roberts

Everything you imagined Nashville bar could be. The people couldn't be friendlier, even after they found out we were from New York. Bartenders were good. The bands playing were excellent. In the heart of downtown near the arena easy walk. I recommend Roberts and Tootsies.

This world famous Honky Tonk takes pride in being one of the true originals in Broadway, It provides a platfrom for up and coming talent and many big names have passed through it's doors. We visited a couple of times on our recent visit to take in the more traditional country music and managed to squeeze in as it was always full to capacity. Great drink prices, great music, great city. For a good old foot stomping, hand clapping, beer drinking night out, make sure you get there early in the evening because it fills up quick and the folk just don't wanna leave!

We have never seen live music this amazing before! The entire place was standing and hooting. I, um, may have danced a liiiiiiittle too much! Even danced with some older country ladies in hats and boots were trying to teach me a thing or two about line dancing. I tried hard! Donato is a virtuoso who is gonna be hugging a truck full of Grammys soon, so get him before he cannot be seen in such a small setting.

Went on a Thursday evening and the place was packed, found a table in the back of the bar. However the music was still good and entertaining.

Had to go here for our night on Broadway. Two great country bands that night. Sat along the wall of cowboy boots. Then went upstairs and got our own table next to the bar.

We went to Nashville over holidays for four days and found ourselves at Roberts every day. The colorful atmosphere, always great music, great prices and the old school grill with fried bologna sandwiches made it hard to stay away. We went to the other stops along Broadway, but kept coming back to Roberts!

We ended up going here several times during our trip to Nashville. Every time a great band was playing. Even at 6 or 7 pm we stood around and waited by the bar for a seat but the music was worth it. I wouldn't eat dinner here but the fried pickles were delicious-we got them all 3 times we visited.

I when you're two nights in a row after visiting several other places. The music was actually good. I enjoyed the rockabilly sound of a simple set. as far as bars go, it has a lot of things to look at and is somewhat unique. But at the end of the day, it's a big room that serves alcohol to a lot of people. It had a good feel and the music made it worthwhile.

Boots everywhere. Many of them signed by famous country singers. A lot of history in this place and it was recommended by many of the locals in town. Definitely worth checking out.

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. No cover. Live band performing, lead was a woman and they were kind of bland and old. Aged and dated. Bathrooms are nasty. Beer and seltzer ($6.75). Stayed and listened to a few songs, kept sounding worse. A band ember walks around with a tip jar, as that is how the entertainers get paid. Though the band was bad, one feels obligated to put a tip inside as the jar is literally shoved in your face. Unless the band is jamming, there are too many better places to choose from.

A local restaurant manager recommended Robert's Western World for "the best live music on Broadway, hands down." Well, after experiencing two incredible live performances at Robert's during our recent stay in Nashville, we are now believers! The bar is among the many shoebox sized honky tonk bars on Broadway (it shares an alley with the Ryman), but the quality of performers is nothing short of amazing. The crowd was fun and friendly, the wait staff were excellent, the beers were very reasonably priced, and the fried bologna sandwich was to die for (it sounded not at all like something I would order, but I took our server's word for it and loved it!). Can't wait to go back next time we visit Nashville!

I was told that this was the place to go to get some good music! Maybe we caught a bad act or maybe I'm becoming an old fuddy duddy! However, we sit in the back of the bar and the band was in the front and the music was to loud, we couldn't understand the lyrics nor could my wife and I communicate. When we go back to Nashville I will give them another chance to see if it's the norm or the exception.
