We love The Factory for it's retro environment of the old industrial factory but also love that it houses new and trendy shops. You can also see very cool events in one of their two event centers. Concerts and other fun events are there routinely. Check out their event listings for something you might enjoy going to. Several places to choose from to eat too. Looking for someone slightly different than most - try The Factory! A definate MUST go stop in Franklin, TN.

I went to The Factory to meet some friends at a restaurant and ended up roaming around and checking out the stores afterward. Great space and lots of fun things to do. A bit outside downtown so you need to drive. Would highly recommend!

I am time resident of Franklin. The Factory is the place to bring out of town visitors on a Rainy Day. It is a old - made over collection of knick knack shops under a single roof, and a high priced restaurant. you can easily spend a couple of hours there sorting through stuff that you would not usually buy to kill some time. Some exceptions are: the Boiler Room theatre is there which is a small 200 seat or so theater where Franklin's theatrical talent can shine. The Farmer's market on a Saturday mornings in warmer weather is a neat place to go - lots of mom and pop farmers sell their wares and they usually has a blue grass band playing. Thee is also the only authentic Seafood store that I know of in the south Nashville reason where you can buy fresh fish and shrimp from the Gulf.

Very nice with a better variety of stores than downtown. Need more awareness about this place. Doesn't look like much from the outside but inside the place was spotless and the stores fun to shop in.

Several vendors to look at, lots of antiques and collectibles. No bargains, but great ideas! A very good use of a factory that is no longer a factory. Loved the restaurants, too!

We've visited The Factory many times over the years, but Christmas is one of my favorite times to do so. We enjoyed strolling around and checking out the Christmas tree displays, shopping for the unusual present or two and the over all atmosphere of this venue. If you enjoy art, good food and interesting people this is well worth your time.

Loved the reuse and design of this space! Very creative and relaxing. However, a lot of the shops were closed and not very interesting to visit. Need to get more variety. Loved the theater inside the factory and Saffire restaurant is fun with great "expensive" food.

The Factory is a wonderful restored "stove" factory with many shops & several restaurants, the newest is a healthy cafe named "The Thrive Cafe". Try it out you will like it!

The factory is a fun shopping mall that was built into an old factory building. There are various small shops and restaurants along with Theater Tenn, a fabulous local playhouse with great Broadway quality plays and musicals. Saffire restaurant is an excellent restaurant with upscale southern cuisine. Be sure to check out the "junk man," a huge statue fabricated by a local welder from old metal junk including parts found in the old factory.

The farmer's market outside is fantastic. Lots of vegetables, meats, crafts, and food trucks. Inside there are shops and a nice antique store that is large.

The Factory houses some very nice artsy shops - not your typical chain stores. I'm often surprised how few people are there (except for events like prom, corporate functions, receptions, etc.) which makes shopping there pleasant. Uncrowded. Time to browse. There is a Farmers Market I believe on Saturday mornings that friends have said is wonderful. If you can't find something interesting and unique at one of the shops, you must have had your eyes closed! I was very sad to see the Viking Store leave - as I was looking forward to taking a class there.

A great variety of locally-owned businesses, including an antique mall, a theater company, one of the better restaurants in Middle Tennessee, and a weekly radio show are housed here in an old factory complex that has been restored but has kept its industrial feel to the inside. It's all very artsy and very comfortable. Great place to shop. The grounds are kept nice, a farmers market held outside in the summer, and plenty of free parking.

The factory use to be a fun unique place to shop and eat. It is an old factory that use to make mattresses, if I remember correctly. Lots of history to the place. Anyway, I understand things are getting changed up and they are making it primarily a place to hole events. They are taking away most of the shopping and food. Very disappointing for me

Interesting place to walk around. Not a lot if kids are in tow as most stores are unique shops or artist's on site with original work. Farmers Market in back looked interesting but didn't visit as it was raining. Also looked like a nice venue for a wedding.

I wish I had more time. The place is small, but I didn't have enough time to photograph everything and really look at all the art throughout the place.
