(We played this golf course in June 2014) By far this has to be one of our favorite golf courses to play at. The greens are beautiful and it's really maintained very well. We also have played at Cobbly Nobb Golf Club and Sequoyah National Golf Club in Whittier,NC.We have decided Laurel Valley Golf Course would be our home course while we vacation in the mountains. It's a challenging course with a lot of different elevations which just makes it more exciting to play. We saw all different kinds of animals while we played. A bear ran across the course on the back 9 and then there were Turkeys everywhere. We had a great day at Laurel Valley and can't wait to play again in the Spring. The mountains surround the course and are so pretty to look at. The club house is really nice and so were the employees.

This is truly one of the most scenic courses with great views of the mountains, many changes of elevation and plenty of wildlife around. The course was in excellent condition, and my only reservation was the lack of a driving range.

Best value for the money on a mountain course! It's a local course but not on the scale like the Bent Creek course near Gatlinburg! I had trouble on some of the holes are very CURVY and NARROW. Placement of shots on these holes are critical. Other holes you can hit harder. Great scenery for the price! Hills and valleys add to the play! Price of the course is within a value range for the money and you get to play in the foothills of the Smokey's.

Great course, play it at every opportunity when in Tennessee. Every hole is unique and the course itself is different from another you will play, very scenic, XLNT value.

The course has been open for several months in 2014. The greens are in great shape and the fairways are catching up after some aeration. Recently I have seen a "drink girl" on course.Last week, during one round, I saw a groundhog, several turkeys and even a bear on the course - with a little noise the bear always runs off. The only drawback is the pro shop does not offer a lot and there is no restaurant, but does have a snack bar.The price is great $20 on Sunday afternoon and Monday and Tuesday. Other days less than $40.A beautiful course.

Nice mountain golf course. It is pretty open but with some blind shots due to the hills. Greens are in good shape. Regular fee for 18 holes with cart is $32 but on Sunday after 2 p.m and all day Monday and Tuesday fee with cart for 18 is $18. Great value, friendly staff, and good golf course.

We play this golf course every week and would not even consider playing any others. We have played many TPC courses in California and this one is just as good or better. The price is awesome, greens are kept up, nice carts and very challenging. Only downfall is they do allow 5 people to play together at times which will definitely hold you up because they don't always let you pass. Just call ahead and make sure no local groups are going out when you want to to avoid the hassle.

We used the Laurel Valley Fitness Center as we stayed at the Richmont Inn in Laurel Valley. The Fitness Center is a very nice facility with free weight, machines and plenty of aerobic machines. Found the center to be very clean. Thanks for making it available to guests of the Richmont Inn. We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed during our visit.

Great Course for fun and enjoyment. Pretty sights with a well maintained course. With numerous players on the course caution needs to be taken on some of the adjoining holes.

This course is so beautiful and the staff on the course and in the restaurant is wonderful. You could make it better by putting out gnat warnings. I would have waited to play if I had known about all of the gnats. I have over 100 bug bites. Please give me warning! I think they like the taste of off.

Played May 30, 2013 with my brother-in-law. Course is hidden away in the hills near the Smoky Mountains. The area is beautiful, but the course is in poor condition. We saw only 2 other groups on the course. The clubhouse is small, but OK. The price was OK ($35 for seniors), but considering the condition of the course way too much. There are other courses with 10 miles. We'll have to try them the next time.

This course may not be a challenge for a scratch golfer, but I don't care how good you are, you will be in awe with the beauty. You will feel you are playing in a postcard.

I have played this course several times. During the fall it is like playing in a postcard..absolutely beautiful. I have seen deer and turkeys everytime I have played the course. I highly recommend this course to anyone visiting the Smoky Mt. area.

We only played 9 holes but this was a beautiful course with great views of the Smokies in the background. Our only disappointment was we were there too early for the fall colors. Will definitely go back the next time we are in the area.
