The winery is beautifully decorated. The wines are excellent and reasonably priced. I will definitely go back.

The setting is absolutely beautiful! We liked almost every wine we sampled and purchased several bottles. They are so reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have quite a variety of wines from very sweet to dry. The gift shop is decorated exquisitely and they also have an antique chandelier collection in a parlor room that is lovely.

I have been to Sunmer Crest Winery several times. Like all others they allow wine tasting and advice, if needed, while choosing what you would like. They offer discounts on large purchases, at least that has been my experience. They offer a couple of wines that I LOVE. Everyone has different taste, so you must try them for yourself. Did I mention gift shopping? They have everything. Expect to spend some time there if it is your first visit. I have to say, I like the way everything is arranged. It is like an art exhibit. I mentioned having time. Well you will look in the room at the entrance. Then you will look at the back room. Then for the serious, they have a basement that I just love. The real deal for you to buy something special. Remember, this is just my opinion. Thanks for taking time to read, I am not affiliated with Sumner Crest Winery in anyway, just if you was wandering. I truly love this place.

This winery was across the road from our hotel but the sign that you see from the highway was faded and old making us think this was not a place to visit. Lucky for us we decided to give it a try. The retail area is so beautifully displayed it deserves 5 stars for décor. The wine tasting was excellent and we definitely chose six bottles to take home - don't let the sign fool you - it's worth the trip! Great gift ideas too.

I have the good fortune of living very near the Sumner Crest Winery. We're so proud to have this great establishment in our area. They have a good assortment of delicious wines and they are happy to let you taste before you buy. There are cheeses, wine glasses, racks, etc. to go with the wine experience. Also, they have a section with lovely gifts and souvenirs of your visit that go beyond the often purchased tee shirt or mug. The winery sponsors several free event throughout the year. What you'll really enjoy is the great welcome you'll get from their staff. By the time you leave, you'll feel like family.

Visited the winery for 70's night. Listened to some fun music and sipped some good wine. It is a fun environment for the whole family. You can bring your chairs or your blanket and sit down and listen to the band play, and even get up and dance if you feel the urge. They do have some food vending present with burgers and such, or you can bring your own. Coolers are ok, but no alcohol is allowed to be brought in to the place, but you can purchase all the wine you want and drink it while sitting there. Check their website for dates and times for other events. It is a fun thing to do on a Saturday night!

This is a great place to stop and sample any of the wines they have prior to buying. Their strawberry wine is really nice. They have tours and tastings very often and a large selection to choose from.

must stop if you like wine. We stopped on the way to Nashville. They have a good variety of wines from sweet to dry and white to red. The lady at the winery was fun and knowledgeable. take 45min of your time to stop in you will not regret.

I used to visit wineries all over Missouri and southern Illinois, but they seem to be getting too big for their britches, with parking and entry fees, charges for tasting, bored, rude staff and high prices. Then I visited Summer Crest and it reminded me what I was missing in my love of visiting a great winery. Good to excellent wines, a very knowledgable, friendly staff, decent pricing and a large reasonably priced gift shop. My companion, who had been there before, said everyone she ever dealt with there was exceptionally polite and really knew what they were talking about. Our server made the trip wonderful. They also have concerts and other free activities throughout the warmer months. It is easily accessible right off of I-65. Go there and enjoy a throwback to exceptional service and pride of product. I know I will return often.

Visited this winery for the first time today. Great staff, knowledgable and friendly. Lots of interesting and unique products in the very large gift shop, and great selection of wines. Easy on and off the interstate, and lots of parking. Free tastings of all the wine!

On our way to Kentucky we thought this would be a nice break and stopped to sample their wine. Kendra served us and she was a typical sweet southern lady, who made our visit worth the stop. We enjoyed the wine we tasted and Kendra's descriptions were right on. If you are on I-65 between Nashville and Bowling Green, the winery is right off the interstate and has a nice gift shop as well as some good wine! Enjoyed a glass tonight in our hotel room!

Had a friend suggest this little winery while we were visiting Nashville, and I was very happy we stopped. This isn't your typical winery were you pay a certain $ amount for 5 or 10 samples...this great winery will let you sample as many of their wines as you would like. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable about their wines. The Robertson King (semi-sweet red) was definitely my favorite! We bought a couple bottles of it while we were there, along with some others, and then ended up buying a case about a month later. The Orlinda gold is also very good. I'm not typically a white wine drinker, but this was refershing and delicious. I have also been told that the Strawberry wine is great, but unfortunately they didn't have that available when we were there. Guess we'll just have to stop by next time!
