If you appreciate fine craftsmanship and beauty you will love the pottery selection here. Huge selection and color choices.

We always shop at Alewine Pottery when in the pigeon forge area. They always have the most unique pieces of pottery. This trip we got 2 new coffee mugs for our RV and a utensil container. We love the trademark leaf design.

This place has some the most beautiful and unique pieces of pottery anywhere. Great place to get gifts and give a piece of the Appalachians.

They make such beautiful pottery. The owner and his wife were very nice. An absolute must for all craft and pottery lovers.

My wife and I first visited Alewine Pottery in the Arts and Crafts Community about five years ago after watching a local program about Robert Alewine one morning while on vacation. It was just fascinated and the pieces he was turning out we're beautiful. We've been back every year and buy a couple of pieces each time. The quality is impeccable.

We get at least one new piece a year from here. They've ruined me on buying pottery from anyone or anywhere else! We are slowly growing our collection until someday, they will all be handed down as heirlooms. Beautiful beautiful pieces!

We go here every time we are in town, we just love to window shop and enjoy the one of a kind artistry you can find here

Hand crafted mugs which can be personalized, and other one of a kind delightful pieces tempt even the most frugal spender.

Lots of interesting pieces like a microwave bacon cooker, small mixing batter type bowl perfect for scrambling eggs and a yarn ball holder to name a few. I thought the color selections could have been greater.

Though we now have made Gatlinburg our home, we still find that we need to visit Alewine Pottery often to simply get our 'Local Arts & Crafts Fix'. It is hard to leave without a small bowl or a mug (which we have several of now). But, the pottery pieces we have enjoyed the most are the small oil lamps that we cannot resist. We have several throughout our mountain home and, yes, we do burn them! Most mornings before we drink our coffee either my hubby or I will light the lamp on the table. The tiny flame we find very relaxing and calming.Always, when we have friends in for happy hour or for a meal, an Alewine Oil Lamp is the centerpiece for the table! We highly recommend taking one of these lamps home with you when you visit The Smokies. It will be a lasting memory of your mountain vacation that you will treasure.PS: You will also find Alewine Pottery in downtown Gatlinburg, but if you have the time take a trip to the original shop in the Arts & Crafts Community on Glades Road. And, if your visit is in the summer or fall, stick around the shop and enjoy the mountain music which is often going on just outside the shop. There are even lots of comfy rocking chairs to sit in while you listen. And, true to southern hospitality, Robert Alewine even serves up Popcorn to folks who visit his shop!

These people make some very beautiful pottery.. The only downside to the pottery is it can be quite pricey. When you're on a budget with a family you unfortunately cannot afford the pottery. But that should not deter you from enjoying all the pretties that they hand craft so beautifully.

We loved this place. Beautiful pottery pieces, a nice fire to rock beside and rest, and you can watch as the pieces are made. The staff was very friendly. The pottery is a little pricey but for the quality and craftsmanship you get, it's hard to pass up. There is a couple of Alewine shops in the Village in Gatlinburg but make sure you stop into the big store off the Arts and Craft Loop, you won't regret it!

All the pottery made here is beautiful but so are the prices. You can watch as the pieces are made. If you collect pottery a piece from Alewine is a must.

This place has a ton of beautiful pieces of pottery. They are like little pieces of art. You can see the time and love placed into each piece made there. Not sure I have enough room in my house for all the pieces I want to purchase.
