My husband found this place on trip advisor and we decided to stop in. We met the owner and received a tour and learned of the company's accolades. Wonderful person and very knowledgable and proud of the business. Great prices!

Like others, we stopped here after seeing the signs on our way back from the Jack Daniels tour. The owner is the nicest person and invites everyone in for a chat and to tour his facility. A great story, great product, friendly owner, overall great experience not to be missed during a trip to Lynchburg.

We were putting together a "Made in Tennessee" gift basket and wanted to include a Lynchburg Whiskey Cake in the basket. Since it is close enough we decided to "go to the source" and were glad we did. The small business started and run by Mr. Billy Thomas is located just outside famous Lynchburg, TN. Surprisingly, we were greeted by Mr. Thomas himself and got the backstory and mini-tour of his place of business. What a gracious host and gentleman. These unique cakes are a true American business success story and a very tasty treat to enjoy or share with friends. A great experience.

While in Lynchburg my husband and I stopped by the Lynchburg cake and candy Company. I am so glad we did! Billy Thomas owner of the company is such a friendly person. We really enjoyed talking with him and hearing about how he started his company. The Whiskey Praline Pecans are amazingly awesome!! I can't wait to try the Whiskey Cake and Whiskey Balls which all are available for purchase on site.

We were in Lynchburg for 1 day and we wanted to get the most out of the town. This is a must-see when you're in Lynchburg. I had called Tom before we went to let him know that we may be coming and it was a good thing I did because he would have been closed otherwise! This is such a nice little place but it is hard to find. There are signs on the road (tiny ones) but they are easy to miss. If you get lost, call Tom -he'll give you directions! The "company" is right behind Tom's house so if you end up at a house, you're at the right place. Tom is such a nice guy -he stayed open for us and he showed us his entire business. He gave us facts about how he got about his business and he was sweet enough to let me sample one of his Rum cakes! He sells whiskey balls, cakes, and lots of other things. My personal favorite is the rum cake -this is a must try!!

You won't believe how much yummy goodness is generated at this tiny little clean place. Mr. Thomas is a wonderful man and makes you feel welcome, and will share lots of interesting facts about his business and Lynchburg in general. Very memorable little place. You won't regret stopping here.

We just moved to TN, and have spent some time in Lynchburg. We were driving home today when we saw the familiar sign to the Lynchburg Cake and Candy Company, we decided to stop...very glad we did! We met the owner who not only shared his story with us, helped us learn more facts and places to see here in TN! Billy Thomas was awesome and I was proud to hear his story. I appreciate the time you took with my wife and I today, we will be back, bringing friends and relatives to experience this business!

I read about cake and candy company on trip advisor during a recent visit to Nashville and decide to call in after going to Jack Daniel's. Billy is a lovely man who is more than happy to take the time to talk with you about his business of making cakes and candy. The pecans are the best we have ever tasted and so is the candy.

The attraction of this spot is the owner, Billy Thomas. It was fantastic to have the opportunity to speak with someone who has lived in Lynchburg for many years. The story of the company is interesting and we enjoyed hearing from Billy how and why he started his business, and how it has grown. This is not a large candy/cake store - there are a handful of items on display (and yes, they're delicious), but if you want the opportunity to spend half an hour speaking with an interesting man, then definitely go.

We found this little "gem" by accident as we were leaving Lynchburg. There was only a small sign on the side of the road and we drove in. I was greeted at the door by owner Billy, who was charming, friendly and welcomed me with a smile and firm handshake. Don't be deceived by the sizeof his business, his pecans are found everywhere in Nashville and this business is as clean as you can imagine. Billy is extremely knowledgeable, answered all our questions and told us everything about his business. We left with several bags of his Whiskey Praline Pecans to share with our family and friends. A definite "must see" when you visit Lynchburg!!! Thank you Billy. John & Pam, Vancouver, BC, Canada
