My husband and I stopped here to sample some of their new wines and buy a few bottles since we were on our anniversary trip. We started out in the gift shop beside the wine room. I wanted to try on a shirt before buying it, and even though I probably wasn't supposed so, they let me anyway. When we got to the wine bar, Danielle was an incredible hostess! She took care of the different parties but never made us feel neglected. She was very knowledgeable about that wines and answered all our questions. 6 bottles of wine and some souvenirs later, we left two happy people. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because it was SO hot in the wine bar area. Love coming here, sampling the wine, and interacting with the great staff.

They have a good selection of wines at a good price. Every time we've stopped in it's been packed! Browse the store for some gifts!

For Valentines Day my husband and a couple of our friends purchased two $125.00 tickets for a dinner, bottle of Aaron Tippin wine and a meet and greet plus concert after dinner with Aaron Tippin (AT). The meet and greet began at 5 pm. We arrived at 5 and were told we couldn't park at the winery instead had to park a few miles away and ride a shuttle back. My friend was using a walker so they let us get out at the door but our friend had to park at the school and ride shuttle back. In the winery there was already a line out the door to get your free bottle of wine and have it signed by AT. After standing in line 45 minutes our friend with the walker couldn't stand any longer and decided to go on to the BUTCHER BLOCK restaurant and wait on dinner. Needless to say they didn't get their bottle of wine that was included with their ticket. My husband and I stood in line another 30 minutes or more before reaching the station where you received your wine. It was another 30 minute or more wait to meet and greet Aaron Tippin and have him sign your bottle of wine. We decided to forego meeting AT and went on to restaurant. It was already 6:30 and time for our steak and lobster dinner anyway and we were hungry. We were seated with our friends who already had a table. We asked our waitress for bread 4 times and finally had to tell a manager before we got any. An hour or more later we still hadn't got our salads. A manager finally had to bring them to us. After waiting over two hours we finally got our food. The steaks were ok but lobsters and drawn butter were cold as ice. By that time we were really frustrated with the whole deal. Our waitress was terrible and the managers we asked to see were not any better. We had our food packed up to go. They never once apologized but kept making excuses about 150 people coming in on them at one time. They sold the tickets and knew 150 people would be there at 6:30. They should have been prepared. This was the worst service and most unorganized event I've ever seen. It was after 9 pm when we finally got a shuttle back to our car. We never did get to see Mr Tippin. I know it wasn't his fault but the restaurant and Winery should be held accountable. We will not be back and I'm sure they had many other unhappy customers as well.. We expected much better service for the money we paid. It could and should have been a wonderful Valentines Day but didn't turn out the way we planned. Very disappointed.

Bought tickets weeks in advance for a Valentine's dinner that included a bottle of wine, meet and greet with Aaron Tipping including a shot concert by him following a nice dinner. We were told after waiting in line for 30 min.for the meet and greet that we should wait and see him after the concert because dinner started at 6:30 and they didn't want us to miss our reservation. When we got to the waiting room it was so packed you had a hard time shutting the outside door with the temperature at 21degrees while the coat checker asked to take your coat. I never seen anyone give up their coat because it was freezing. The entire room was said to be only for the 150 people that had bought 125.00 tickets, yet people would pack in and move to the front because there was no line and nobody took names as you came in,so whomever forced there way to the front got in first. Their excuse was that the people that had 4:30 reservations were still eating, ant this was at 7:00. Then they would come "yell" party of 6,then later"party of 10! That's when I knew they were lying and were taking other reservations ahead of the supposed closed event.after 45 min.past our 6:30 reservation everyone started getting pretty mad and wanting a refund.many were yelling and very upset. We were offered to wait till tables were available,go watch the concert at 8:30,then come back after when they should have a slower crowd. Starving already,I asked if I could come back for dinner another time and leave. They said we could. My fiancé and I bolted so we could eat and not ruin the rest of the evening. I have no idea what anyone else did,but drove 21/2 hours round trip for this, and heard some drove 4 hours round trip and I wanted to go eat and get home.never got to see Aaron or see the concert. We did get a bottle of wine . Not sure if I want to return for the dinner I have paid for or not,but will defiantly never return ever again. Thanks to Vegas steakhouse we salvaged a terrible Valentine's Day a little.

We regularly stop here at I-40 exit 320 to buy wine and fudge, and check out all of the interesting foodie stuff for sale. The fudge made in-house is excellent, and they always have a huge variety. The wine is nice, and again, a large variety is available. The tasting room is huge and can accommodate large groups. They also have local cheese, snacks, and other interesting things for sale. A great stop if you are passing through, or a must if you are taking a wine trail tour in East Tennessee.

We wanted to stop by a local winery to sample some of Tennessee's wines. We were so happy to stop by this family-owned winery. Cheerful, helpful staff who knew answers to our questions and didn't pressure us to buy. We did end up buying a few bottles of desert type wines, as we decided to take something back to Michigan that we just can't buy there. The winery also has a great selection of assorted gifts and next door you will find the BEST selection of fudge you can imagine - with lots of free samples there too. Definitely worth the stop and right off the freeway (I-40)

When we travel to Eastern Tennessee, Stonehaus is a traditional stop for us. Every stop is not perfect, some years the wines are better than other. Our visit this year was one of the best. It must have been an excellent year for their grapes. As compared to last year, when we didn't care for many of them, this year they were all good. The staff has always been friendly with us, the girl who served us this year took her time and let us sample as many wines as we wanted. We bought 6 bottles of wine. If we didn't stop for the wine, we'd stop for just the cheese. We always get some cheese, and perhaps some of their other gourmet snacks, to take along with our wine. My favorite is the Butterkase, which I have never found anywhere else. Definitely worth the stop, and as a bonus, the truck stop across the road usually has some of the cheapest gas down that stretch of highway.

We stopped and tasted their wine and had a nice visit with the guy behind the bar who served us. We like the sweeter wines and they have several. After tasting wine, we picked up barbecue at a place across the street and enjoyed it at the picnic tables outside of the winery. Very pleasant!

This winery has been recommended to me a couple of times. So I made a point to go by and visit. I was very impressed as I walked in, the staff greeted their customers as soon as the come through the door. The inform their customers that if they wish to taste any of there wines they may do so at the wine bar. On each of the wines that the customers request to taste the staff informs the customer on how it is made, what type of taste it will have, and what foods it would be good with a meal. They ship there wines through out the states and they also give you a sheet on where they sell there wines in stores. If you are a somewhat a wine connoisseur or just like wines, then I recommend that you stop by and taste their wines.

I liked that: The store is filled with interesting little things. The staff is friendly and informative. I disliked: having to leave!

Our Hostess took lots of time allowing us to sample for free any of the wines on their menu. We held to the sweeter white and blush varieties. Nice surprise with a raspberry inspired wine paired with their homemade dark chocolate fudge. Loved the sparkling peach wine as well! the frozen fruited rita-something was a nice surprise for someone who doesn't really like any of the "rita" beverages. Beautiful gift shop selling cheeses, crackers, spreads, and an assortment of gifts.

I was so excited to go on my first wine tasting and tour but was sadly disappointed when we arrived. I researched the website and thought I did my homework before we went; however, the tour is a video that plays that you can hear unless you sit outside on the porch and await for it to restart so you can catch all of it AND you have to ask someone to turn it up. We were so disappointed we never tasted the wine.

The two people behind the counter didn't even say hi to us until we went to the counter. We sampled 4 wines for free. Bought 3 bottles.

We went to this winery to taste the wines, and found that the two women serving the wine were kind, funny, and very knowledgeable about wines and the area. The wines were excellent, and we had a great time tasting the array of dry wines. They offer a wide variety of sweet wines, but we did not try these since my husband and I do not generally care for the sweeter wines. The gift shop is a fun place to shop for unique gift items.

If you want a nice wine with a local flair, then Stonehaus is your place. Just stop in and do a tasting and find the wine that's right for you. I find that a few bottles, no a lot of bottles leave with me each time I visit.
