We went on the 1:45 trail ride and had a great time. My 7 year old son and 11 year old daughter had a blast. We also stayed at the bunkhouse. It was clean and very peaceful. The 4 of us sat in the hot tub at the bunkhouse and it was unforgettable. Very peaceful. I will go back.

For a friends birthday we went to Blanche Manor since she had never ridden a horse. The journey to get there was pleasant and not too far from north Atlanta area for a day trip. There were 5 of us with various levels of riding and Blanche Manor did a great job of explaining and pairing each person with a horse depending on skill level. The horses were friendly and well taken care of. At first we didn't know how everyone would do but even through wet snow beginners did great and so did their horses! The views were wonderful and we loved seeing the blue ridge mountains. The staff was very patient and friendly to all of us and waited as some of us in the back were slow :) we really enjoyed our 3mile ride through the snow and would recommend Blanche Manor to anyone wanting to enjoy a peaceful ride through the mountains.

This was our first time in Blanche Manor. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain how to ride the horses in a safe way. What to do and don't do. The tour was about two hours and we all enjoyed nature. There was no rush and we even spent some time talking after the ride.

My 9 year old and I went today. The horses are happy and healthy. They treat them so well. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The ride through the mountains is beautiful. This is out third time here and our horses and guide have always been wonderful. I definitely recommend coming here.

We had an amazing time at Blanche Manor Horseback Riding! Our guide, Haley, was fantastic and extremely knowledgable. We had a party of 4 adults and 3 kids (ages 6-9) and the staff skillfully matched each rider with the perfect horse. The trail was scenic and the horses were very "people friendly". The kids and adults all had terrific time! (Visit in January 2015)

My family and I just recently visited Blanche Manor. We stayed for two days and two nights in the Bunk House. It is a spacious but cozy place that I found very quaint. It was equipped with a lot of home needs such as a fully equipped kitchen Pots and pans dishes and utensils. It also had towels and linen and even had games for family time, This makes up for the small TV, Which isn't a big deal unless you are one of those that can not do without TV, We also went on a trail ride was very nice. My 78 year old mother even rode. This was an awesome experience.

Our family visited Blanche Manor a few years back when we came to Blue Ridge, GA, and when we returned, we knew we had to go back. We were not disappointed! Our guide this time was Luke, and he did an amazing job keeping our girls (11 and 7) calm and entertained throughout the entire ride ~ they didn't want it to end! The adults thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and the relaxed pace. I don't think any trip we make up here would be complete without making a point to come here!

We have been on several trail rides in the past, but this one by far is the best! Friendly, helpful, and knowledgable about the horses and giving us the best ride possible. Shout out to Danielle, our guide! She's the best!

I stayed at Blanche Manor for a birthday trip recently. Part of that trip was a couple of rides. First, I went in the morning for the advanced ride so I could get some cantering in. Once you've been on a horse that canters there's basically no way you want to be on a horse doing anything else. It's such an endorphin rush. Anyway.. I got there about 15 minutes early - per their request - and filled out paperwork. Then I got to meet my buddy for the day - Thor. We got saddled up and had a short safety instructional and tutorial before heading out. There did seem to be some confusion about the ride and what "advanced" meant. On the form it asks your experience level. They made sure to check with me that I was intending to do the advanced ride (I was) because my experience level was not advanced. I'm not sure if they would have preferred only very experienced riders do the advanced or if it was just a weird miscommunication but I felt a bit like maybe I shouldn't be there. However, when I booked I spoke with someone and was assured it was an appropriate ride. So, who knows. But it was kind of a weird vibe. The ride itself, the scenery, the guide, etc were great. Our guide offered to take photos for us if we brought phones or cameras. A couple of us did (we had zippered pockets - don't bring things out in regular ol' pockets). We got some great shots. The scenery and views were wonderful. The trails are really well done so there's not a lot of duck and cover happening - always appreciated! Later that afternoon we went on the beginner ride. It was my SO's first time out. Again, we got a tutorial and safety instructional. We had the same guide - again she was great. SO had a great time and absolutely loved it when we got to trot. Our guide was great about instructing him on how to handle that and it went very well. We will definitely be back to go riding in the future! Other things to note: Bring cash - you get a discount if you pay cash. I don't think the website prices are up to date as we paid slightly more - but still 100% worth it.

We had the opportunity to stay at Blanche manor with my family as well as 2 other families. The dads took the kids riding while we went shopping. They had a great time! Very knowledgable staff and seasoned horses. Children's ages were 6-12, and the staff gave them the confidence to take on the trails to see the beautiful mountains. I would highly recommend Blanche manor to riders of all ages and we hope to return in December!
