I have brought my kids here twice. We went once in July of 2014 and once in March 2015. My children loved it both times! There is a large variety of animals to feed. The drive through section is pretty large. There is also a walk through section where you can look at monkeys and even feed a giraffe!

We took our kids and our grandson here in July on Jeffery the Giraffes birthday. And although he wouldn't come out because it was too hot the rest of the animals weren't shy to tell us hi. The kids loved the drive thru safari! They got to feed the animals grain out of the car window.. It was very hot this day so we found ourself rushing some. At the end there is a petting zoo which my 2 yr. old grandson loved to be able to touch the babies running around. It would be amazing if they offered bottled water for purchase through the real hot summer months because this was our first Safari and we didn't think to grab water and we were miserable due to the heat.

First off, let me say that my wife and I loved the experience. It was a lot of fun and we talked of bringing our grandchildren at some point in time. Feeding the animals was neat however you do have to look out for your thumbs, the animals have no table manners. You buy food at the park entrance, it cost us 10.00 for four tubs of feed. The entry fee was 12.00 per person which I thought a bit high but cheaper that going to an amusement park.We were disappointed in that the buffalo and zebra were not available as well as the giraffe. we were told that they would be brought in sometime late March or April. So the pic on the advertisement was a bit misleading. We will be going back this summer to get the full experience and maybe drag a few grandkids with us.

I was totally impressed! The deer, ostrich and emu came right up to the car to eat the food. In addition to several other types of animals. Bison, elk, and even pot belly pigs. They were all friendly and we all had a great time feeding the giraffe at the end of the tour. Cost was a little high at $12.00 per person. Then $2.00 per bucket for the feed. And an additional $1.00 for a couple pieces of carrots for the giraffe.

Disliked: Not enough animals and certainly not enough variety of animals. Not cheap as we spent $80 for admission for 6 and 2 buckets of food each. Liked: the walk thru zoo was slightly better. the goats were adorable of course and they have a huge giraffe who will take carrots from your mouth. Yukky but fun to watch! They have camels in the drive thru but be careful as they know what they are doing and they will simply take your bucket without batting an eyelash? Camel in walk thru zoo was really tame and cool. he was talking to us. All in all just an OK experience. Nowhere nearly as good as the one outside of Knoxville.

I was very impressed with this little park in the middle of nowhere. The cost was $12 per adult. Plan to buy at least 1 bucket of feed for $3. The one bucket lasted me the whole 3 mile drive because I fed the animals conservatively. The ostriches and emus can be quite aggressive. One ostrich actually bit the driver of my vehicle; however, it did not break the skin. I was impressed with the amount of animals here. At the very end, the camels were waiting to be fed, and one of the camels took my feed bucket right out of my hands - which provided lots of laughs. You can even park your car and walk around to see the other animals: kangaroos, giraffe, lemurs, etc. It was well worth the money spent.

This drive thru park is so much fun. Get lots of feed the animals go crazy eating out of the buckets. Be sure and feed the giraffe some carrot sticks.

I was attracted to this place by the sight of the zebras you can see from the highway.I arrived late in the date, about hour and half before closing so it wasn't crowded at all. It was a super fun experience and the animals are obviously used to the attention. So they are more than willing to come right up and be fed. It was very enjoyable and definitely worth the stop!

We went here on Sunday. They actually opened early to allow everyone in that was waiting. Beware of the overly active ostriches. Aside from the ostriches, All the animals are awesome, most walk right up to your car windows. Good selection of animals. The walk through exhibits are very small. You can go in with the goats and pet them. Very nice for a place that hasn't been opened as long as major zoos.Very worth thre drive 20 minutes out of Jackson.

Not as exciting as the website displays. This is not close to being a zoo. The thougth is nice but you actually only have about 4-5 different animals you see during the drive thru mostly Ostrich. A little disappointed even with the petting zoo 3 different monkeys. 2 turtles, 1 giraffe and a few goats. As i stated this place cater's to Ostrich. The camels are very aggressive when it comes to the food buckets they are not going to let them go they actually take the entire bucket from you. Kinda scary its about 6 of those. A little pricey for what you get but the laughs you get are priceless. Going at least once is a good experience if you are no more than 1hr away.

We noticed the sign while passing thru and our group of two adults and two teenagers wanted to check it out. Girls were laughing and squealing from the very first encounter. We drove thru twice to offer the last of our feed to the camels- definitely our favorites. No matter how hard the girls tried to hold their buckets firmly, they were snatched away-to everyone's amusement. We DO need to wash the car now- inside and out- but totally worth it. Also fun feeding carrots to the giraffe. Don't be afraid of the animals because they didn't seem interested at all unless they saw a bucket. We would definitely go again!!

My wife had heard good reviews, so we decided to take a quick day trip to "spend some time with the animals". How often do you have a Bison stick his big head in your car window?? It was entertaining to see them - Bison, Llama, emu, osterich, and others - all come to the car window. I think they were having fun doing some "people watching". Oh, and some were also glad to eat the food we had for them. Still, it was mid-afternoon and there had been a line of cars ahead of us. I think some were already full. For all those city folks out there, drive on over and check out the "local wildlife".

This was my 2nd trip, once with a school field trip and then with family. We had an absolute blast! You're able to drive you car through part of the zoo and can field the animals. They come right up to your car! The giggles from the backseat were priceless!

I was in the area and brought my kids here. The safari part was great, my three year old enjoyed feeding the animals but wasn't a big fan of the emus or ostriches as they were quick to find the food bucket. The walk through part was nice, but the monkey cages were tiny and the poor giraffe was confined to a small barn (but it happily came out and made googly eyes at us for carrots). Be prepared, it's cash only admission. Senior citizens get a free bucket of food for the animals.
