Excellent performances. Always enjoyable. The Grandchild is obligated to stay young so we can see the delightful December children's plays.

It's been a while since I attended one of the SLAC's plays, but the ones I did go to were AWESOME. I lived in SLC for 35 years and heard nothing but good things about this company. If you're in town for a while, it's worth your while to catch the SLAC.

The best local acting venue and a perspective perhaps not always that of the majority in this state.

We have gone to several plays but our favorite is Saturdays Voyeur. If you are a local you will love the satire of what goes on in this state and in this culture. We love it

This is the theater company that brings the 'Avante Guard' plays to Utah no one else will produce. And the Crown is "Saturday's Voyeur" a spoof on all thing political and religious in Utah. If you need an adult's night out, get away from the 'family friendly' stage productions that go on everywhere else around Salt Lake, this is the Theater Company for you. Most of the shows have language not suitable for minors and may have brief nudity.I have been going for 27-years, and have only seen one play I wasn't thrilled about. Definitely great for theater buffs or for someone who wants to try something a little different.

If You are in Salt Lake City this Summer this is a MUST SEE! Saturday's Voyeur is in it's 36th Year with a NEW Production that's better than ever! With a years worth of Salt Lake City News, with its quirky Mormon Lifestyle, is almost always having readers shaking their heads mumbling "Only In Utah" . The skits are all taken from the pages of the local papers & the radio & TV Media. It's no secret that the LDS Church has a greater than great influence on the Legislators ~ so some of the stuff is so outragious it's laughable! It's all here brillantly written, directed & choreographed. The Actors & Actresses are at their BEST~ All for Your enjoyment! Arrive early, bring a pinic basket & maybe a bottle of your favorite beverage & enjoy the Show! Did I enjoy the Show ~ "You Bet" & I'll see it again before it closes!Don't miss this one ~ You can thank me later! Don't forget to call ahead for tickets! As usual I have my ticket stub to verify my attendance to Saturday's Voyeur.

Hit and miss. Some of their stuff is brilliant, some is so-so, and some should have just stayed on the pages of the script. But it's affordable theater, especially if you're already a student in Utah. Nice little theater though.

We have been subscribers to SLAC for years. They offer a variety of plays that are usually quite new and cutting edge. They are not for everyone- if traditional favorites are your deal, you probably not like the offerings at SLAC. Occasionally, there are clunkers, but by and large the plays are thought-provoking and entertaining. And Saturday's Voyeur is always a fun summertime party!

I had the best time ever you should go!! I loved all the fun and amazing acting and it was a great date night for me and my boy friend!

The acting company has plays that are very entertaining. However, once during the season you can pack a lunch, grab a bottle of wine and enjoy the satire that is chosen for the evening. If you are overly religious then I would suggest that you do not attend as they make a satire out of politics and the mormon church. If you have an open mind, then sit back, relax and enjoy

Great acting, challenging plays, and a cozy venue in a old Mormon chapel - just what most theatre goers like!

This is a theater inside a renovated church. Good seating with no bad views. Outside food and beverages allowed although there is a concession available. Many plays are original and there is an annual "spoof" on Salt Lake City year in review that is hilarious! This is a very progressive theater that brings forth bold, thought provoking plays that stay with you.

The Salt Lake Acting Company, a professional theatre, has been the true voice of Utah's alternative and progressive brains for decades. It has never been more central and vibrant than it is today, under Executive Producers Mhyre and Fleming. SLAC is a voice that is neither still nor small.

The Salt Lake Acting Company is a superb and unique theatrical offering in Salt Lake City. The company's repertoire is creative: from premiers, to plays written by local writers, to a children's show, to its annual, hilarious, satiric Saturday's Voyeur (running since '78). The employees are friendly. Every seat is a good one. It's in a cool, old neighborhood. They'll run shows that aren't family friendly, which is something I deeply value as theater should sometimes be provocative, dealing with adult themes, and using language that isn't always G-rated. Many theater companies, in their attempt to reach families and to offend anyone, put on well-produced, pleasant, and ultimately forgettable plays, while the Salt Lake Acting Company takes risks and puts on plays that you'll remember and talk about long after the lights have gone down. If I lived in SLC, I'd be a member and attend every show, but living 190 miles away from SLC means I get over there just a few times a year--it's always a worthwhile and unique theatrical experience.

Have loved the Salt Lake Acting Company since it's inception so many years ago. They can do no wrong.... all performances are original in interpretation, fantastic in talent and absolutely spellbinding or hillarious, whichever the case may be. If visiting Salt Lake and you want to take in a theater performance, don't miss the Salt Lake Acting Company. A theater where you can have a glass of wine, sit back and enjoy. It's a unique, adult experience you don't want to miss.
