I wanted to see a slot canyon but I couldn't get down any of the roads with my car. I came across this canyon in a hiking guide. It is easy to get to, just off a road in town. It is a short hike through a wash and you enter the slot canyon. It is not a long canyon but easy access

This is a gallery worth the stop if you like art and Mrs Bingham was there yesterday when we happened to stop because I saw their sign that said "Maynard Dixon Home" and I am a fan of Maynard Dixon who lived part time in Tucson, AZ and spent his summers here. The art available at the Bingham Gallery is outstanding but another reason to stop is to do the $10.00 self guided tour of the Maynard Dixon area or the $20.00 docent led tour that can be arranged by appointment. We did not have time to do either of these but would have had we known about it.
