yellow rock trail

Not much to say other than it's a great half day hike. When you get to the top, the scenery is magnificent.

Yellow Rock is a great destination if you travel near Kanab or Page.No permit is needed, not like "The Wave" for instance, and I assure you it's as amazing !It doesn't take long to go there, and the hike itself is quite short (2.5 Miles Round Trip).Take good walking shoes as it's quite steep at the beginning...You can spend a good time taking picture once you get there (Average Hiking Time: 3 hours)The best time is, as often, at sunset.The area is quite large to discover, so take you time to explore Yellow Rock !You won't be disappointed.

wenn man den sehr steilen Aufstieg von der Cottonwood Canyon Road geschafft hat und diesen unglaublichen, überwiegend gelben Hügel vor sich sieht. Das Auto hat man etwas nördlich des Lower Hackberry Canyon abgestellt, wandert dann entlang des Cottonwood Creeks nach Süden bis zum Trail. Der Yellow Rock befindet sich in einer Klasse mit der "Wave" und der "White Pocket" mit seinen verwirbelten, versteinerten gelben und rötlich gefärbten Sanddünen. Gerne auch den Rundweg über die Spitze des Yellow Rock zum Hackberry Canyon. Utah at its finest !!!
