Snow was not at its best due to warmer than usual winter weather. Nonetheless, the day was wonderful, few fols on the lifts and great intermediate runs, most economical skiing available in this day and age.

Not a large resort however a fun virtually undiscovered place to ski. For two years we feel like we'ver virtually had the place to ourselves. No lift lines. Most of the runs are not real long but the place is a great family resort.

Great runs for the beginner and the price is right. Lines rarely have a wait. Lower altitude good for those that deal with altitude sickness. Great lodging/skiing packages.

Our family has been skiing Eagle Point for the past five years. All you need to know about EP is that we pass Las Vegas Ski Resort and Brian Head on our way to EP. Further, Arizona Snowbowl is 4 hours closer to us than EP. Yet, we continue to drive further and go to EP each and every year. Why? For starters, our whole family (3 people) skis the season for about 900 dollars. Second, the terrain is so much better than the other resorts near us. Plenty of green choices for beginners, a selection of short cruisers for intermediate skiers, and an entire mountain of steep blacks for the experts. Then there is the ultra-dry Utah powder snow. It can't be beat, and that comment comes from someone who has skied in every state in the midwest and west except for Washington. Most of all, the views are breathtaking from any point at the resort. Finally, the staff will do everything in their power to make sure your needs are met. Being a family, we do not have any knowledge of the nightlife or apres options in the Canyonside Lodge. However, people we meet at the hotel, or visit with in the parking lot say that the evenings are fun at the lodge with dancing and music. If you have never been to Eagle Point, you will enjoy a visit. As our son likes to say, "TRY IT, YOU MIGHT LIKE IT!"

We love skiing Eagle Point! Our family's abilities range from beginners to a 35-year skier and this mountain has runs for everyone. Plus the Utah snow was awesome for our 3-day trip. The food in the restaurant was really good and the staff was friendly. We live in Indiana but we'll definitely be back.

My husband & I went as first-time skiers and I was so impressed with all of the staff, from rentals to our instructor, Chad. We had a great time in a beautiful setting and can't wait to go back!

We make the trek out to Eagle Point from Detroit. My wife, 15, 13, and 11 y/o traveled north from the Las Vegas air point on a easy trip through some of most incredible landscapes we had ever seen. The mountain was awesome. The conditions were great and there was great skiing and boarding for all of us. My kids loved the terrain park! If you like steeps with amazing views, you will love Eagle Point. The staff was very accommodating and the food was awesome. Evenings in the lodge are a blast. Get there!

I live in Southern California and made the journey by car with my family to Eagle Point. I wasn't disappointed. The mountain has some nice cruiser runs for beginners and intermediate skiers/boarders and some very steep and varied expert terrain. Most of the lodging allows for easy access to the lifts with many ski in and ski out options. The owners really do a great job focusing on the "skier/boarder experience". The staff is very friendly and the lodge and restaurant rivals most mega resorts in terms of ambiance, quality of food and drink and evening entertainment. Experts will love the "steep side" while families will enjoy how manageable the mountain can be. And everyone will rave about the lack of huge crowds which plagues so many resorts these days. The location is ideal for many of the storms that cross the desert and dump piles of dry powder. This is a must visit resort for skiers and boarders of all abilities.

We have visited EP for the past 3 years for a long weekend on the slopes. We are consistently rewarded with great snow and without any lines. The resort has made efforts each year to provide greater access to the entire mountain and really seems to be heading in the right direction. The apres ski activities are just a bonus. Lounging in the hot tub before cutting loose on the dance floor are a nice way to round out the day. Looking forward to returning next year!!

Our family loves spending time at Eagle Point. I have boarded at numerous other resorts outside of Utah and none of them have what Eagle Point has. First of all, no lift lines. You spend your entire day actively boarding/skiing instead of standing in lines. Second, their ski school instructors are amazing. After my son had an awful experience in a lesson up in Montana, I never thought I'd get him on a snowboard or skis again. I put him in a lesson at Eagle Point and the instructor was awesome. My son absolutely loves snowboarding now. Third, the restaurant; the chef is the best around. We have eaten here many times and the food is the best in Southern Utah. Fourth, weekend nightlife here is so much fun. We have been to the bar at Eagle Point when they've had both DJs and bands. There is always a great crowd and it makes for an awesome date night. I have to say that Eagle Point has a little bit of everything for everyone. I can't see us traveling to a different resort now that we have found this one.

Eagle Point ROCKS! My experience there has been nothing but great! It was actually the very first place I ever went skiing- I only started about 2 years ago. The prices are so affordable and you can have so much fun without spending a lot of money! The people there are so friendly too! The first time I was at Eagle Point, a gentleman saw that I was struggling(even down a very small "hill") and he asked me if I would like some help. Of course I said YES! He spent about an hour with me, showing me some techniques. By the end of his lesson- I could actually go down what I call the "big hill". without falling! I was so happy and excited I wanted to keep doing it over and over again, it became addicting! My boyfriend and I also stayed in a cabin there and it was amazing! I would recommend Eagle Point to anyone and everyone! Whenever we get a chance to make the drive up there from Vegas, we do it!!

We took our first trip to Eagle Point in February 2014 and had an absolutely awesome time. We were a group of six: myself and my wife, two kids ages 8 and 6, and their grandparents. My wife and I and our kids were novice skiers, while my folks are much more experienced - all of us had a great time. The condo we stayed in was a short walk from the main lodge and was very comfortable for our group of six. The staff was tremendous - we felt like we were at a home away from home as everyone went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, particularly nice for the newbie skiers in the group. We took lessons and the instructors were all great - we were a little worried about our 6-year old, but within 5 minutes she went from tears to smiles and never looked back for the four days we were there. The conditions at the mountain were ideal - beautiful views, well-groomed trails, and not overly crowded. We'll be back again for sure!

This place is awesome for a small ski area. Great snow at high elevation, thrilling steeps, classy feel, the best service I've seen at a ski resort. I highly recommend you try this if you are passing through southern Utah or as a destination on its own.

We've been coming up since the resort opened. The mountain is stunning. The slopes are great. The resort isn't crowded. Best of all: the staff goes out of their way to make sure you are having a great time! We love it there and look forward to trips there for many years to come!
