casino has lost it luster and clients to have fun. Machines has gone tight. bonus low and comp offers are no longer available. Would go over for $25 comp 2 years ago and have stopped mailing out cards. in fact use to give you 25 for your birthday month!. No longer. It's all about profit which I expect, but should have some fun losing the money anyway. Lost my business for the last year after change in management and practice,

Spent a snowy day inside at Delaware Park. Primarily at the poker tables. Staff was very attentive & keep the mood jovial.

I play at Delaware Park about 6 times a month. That being said I have to tell you all it is not what it was. The slots have gotten VERY tight. Bonus do not seem to pay like they once did. I hope the management see this review and know as a once loyal player have I gotten upset with the play there. Now I know it is called gambling and you can't expect to win all the time but this place is getting to the point it isn't even fun to go to. I can only hope that it gets better. I know that the economy as improved for the most part but the Park is lagging behind. The drink servers all good people and know us and as well as the valet attendants. Top notch people. Come on Delaware get you game back on.

We saw the Glimmer Twins, a rolling stone tribute band at Delaware Park. They were fantastic, great free show.

The food in Legends is always good and the staff are very friendly. The assortment of slots is always changing and you can always find something new to try. Definitely not as showy as the casinos in Atlantic City or Vegas, but then the food prices are very reasonable and the valet parking is a bargain.

Not all the glitz and glam of Atlantic City, but a nice casino all around. Decent food, reasonably priced. Good variety of machines and horse racing seasonal. Valet parking available at a decent price. Could be a bit cleaner and more attendants present, but overall a good experience.

I really enjoy a day at Delaware Park.Watching the thorough breads, placing a few bets, then time for a few dollars in the slots and a nice dinner to celebrate or commiserate! Not fancy, but interesting and fun.Certainly worth a trip... Good luck...I hope you win!

We attended an airline reunion at Delaware Park. The party was in the Picnic Area. Even though it was a very hot and humid afternoon, we had a great time. The food and drink were very good.. The staff was always there for every need. We could place our bets right there in the tent. If you wanted to go to the casino, you have to go inside, which is understandable. If you are planning and outing or picnic, check this place out. We had a great time and suggest you go there.

You can tell this was a race track first and then a casino later!! The casino managers need to get more people on the floor as ambassadors for the casino and to stop people from congregating in one area. They need more security. The layout is all wrong! They need a better players card club as well! When the best thing about the casino is the car park valet RUNNING to get my car, they have a problem!! Before you leave, go upstairs and try the meatloaf sandwich.

I guess the owners are making a lot of money with their Maryland Racecino and don't care about this place anymore. The quality of racing is reverting back horses one step from the Alpo factory. No live racing on Sundays???? Oy.The casino is like walking into The Twilight Zone. Where do these people come from? From the unpleasant security guards at the door, the unhappy scowling employees, and the zombies from Walmart pushing buttons on the machines, just makes you want to run for the doors. There were so many old people walking around with oxygen tanks, I thought I was in a nursing home. Now I remembered why I stopped going here. Time to turn this place into a shopping mall.

We like to sometimes gamble and DP is a nice place to have some fun. Bet the horses or even play golf.

I love the fact that it is a non smoking casino. Too many points to get a prize pick. Used to be 7 but now need 10. Otherwise nice place.

Fun evening out when you want to have dinner and do something afterwards. Legends restaurant has some of the best crab cakes around and delicious CRÈME BRULEE. Then gamble some. Fun night out with family, friends or co-workers.

Went to Delaware park twice to get the 104 piece Tupperware set both times they were out but instead they gave me 10 dollars each night and a Yankee candle was that a gimmick just to get people to come to play filling ripped off I played their 10 dollars on top of that I bought 45dollars of my own both nights to get nothing did I just pay 90 dollars for a 10 dollar candle well I won't be goin back for any of their promotions

Great way to spend a nice sunny Saturday afternoon in the summer and watch exciting live thoroughbred horse racing. Make sure to check out the paddock area and picnic grove where you get to see the horses and jockeys up close!! Use the entrance by the Christiana Hospital for easy access to the paddock and picnic grove area. Bring the whole family. The kids will enjoy seeing the horses up close, and then in between races there is a moon bounce for them to play in and lots of room to run around and play in the picnic grove. You can even see the race if you walk up to the fence without leaving the picnic grove. There are some tables, but it is best to bring lawn chairs if you have them.Make sure to pack a picnic lunch and bring a cooler with plenty of water and your favorite beverages. You are not allowed to bring in any glass or alcoholic beverages. You can even grill if that is your pleasure. There is also plenty of food, beverages, and beer to purchase on site. There are plenty of betting windows out in the picnic grove. There is also a huge tent with tables inside if you want to get out of the sun. Inside the tent are also a number of TV's televising all of the races. There are also some shady areas in the picnic grove due to the large trees. (Very pretty).Parking is free. Entrance to the park is free. There are bathrooms in the picnic grove.Special tip - Bring a bag of peanuts. There are lots of friendly squirrels running around in the picnic grove and paddock area that will appreciate your peanuts. They will almost come right up too you as they are very used to "handouts".
