woodland beach

I stopped at Woodland Beach for a different place to go and layed out my towel. The water looked good. I was the only person on the beach and I understand why. Even with bug spray on my body the bugs just kept biting and I had to leave. If it wasn't for the bugs it would be a nice place to go.

Great place to walk your dog. do some saltwater fishing, or maybe take a swim. You may need to bring along insect repellent in warmer weather. No restrooms, just outhouses. There is a fishing pier.

If you go here during low tide you can find some beach glass, its not a great spot to swim if you dont like murky water...but it is peaceful and quiet. When we were here this time we were bothered by green heaqd flies (biters) but in the past they were not a problem. There is a long pier to fish from, as well as along the coast.There was no charges to go here.

This is in an out-of-the-way beach in Delaware. Very rustic, but has a nice beach for swimming and a great new fishing pier with a lot of fish.There is a new bait shop trailer opening up with lots of goodies. Worth the ride
