Living in Delaware I look forward to Frightland every year. I love going here because all the attractions are really fun & well worth the $30. The hayride is my favorite because there's so much to see & is the scariest part of all. I love how the actors interact with you. There are many bathrooms located around the park, many good & delicious places to choose from to eat & also a very clean place to go to. You won't be disappointed!

Big business haunted attractions seem to be popping up all over the place. Frightland is among the best of the bunch. A little high priced but, if you can afford it, go for it. The actors are permitted to get very close but not grab you. I had a great time watching them chase down some of the more skittish guests.

We have a blast at Frightland. The actors are really committed to scaring you. Every year they try to add new things, or change things a little bit, so it is worth going every year. There is a small carnival with rides suitable for younger children. Going on a Sunday the lines are much shorter.

Let me just tell you, I have been to a number of haunted attractions and traveled to DE from PA because Travel Channel ranked this as one of the scariest places for the Halloween season. I have no idea why. There were 8 attractions and one would think at least one out of the 8 would be good, but it wasn’t. I have never been so unimpressed in my life. My group sat on the wrong side of the hayride and got no scares what so ever, actually I lied, the scares we got was the low hanging branches of the trees that touched the top of my head. But as far as the actors they were all on the other side of the hayride scaring everyone else. I have to admit the scenery and décor of the hayride was nice and creative, but that was about it. As far as the other seven haunts, they were not scary at all a few actors in some hidden parts trying to scare you, but as far as that we got nothing!!! But they did have a barrel cannon that went off every so often and the loud noise kept scaring me all night. It’s pretty bad when a cannon, not an attraction scared me more than the attractions themselves. Also most of the attractions all 8, except for the hayride were so short we walked in them and walked around for less than 5 minutes and were done. It was like they just stabbed a bunch of scenery together and gave you a winding walk way and called it as an attraction. To me the best thing about a haunted attraction is the actors who interact with you. The actors were so stuck of their script that when you asked them a question they just ignored you and kept talking, like you were not even there or existed. How is that entertaining? Just the night previous we went to a haunted attraction that an actor danced with us, talked to us, joked with us, that’s what we were expecting, but instead we got an actor with no personality. So if you are like me and really spend time researching haunted attractions and drive over 100 miles to get good scares don’t waste your money or time on this attraction.

They work on changing it year to year and every year they hit a home run. I always like going with friends and family. It is scary and i don't recommend young kids who scare easy.

my little one Bella, wants to join us this year in our visit to frightland. last year was the best year ever, with be most fun being phobia. so dude in the corner in the dark. feeling the walls he makes you aware he is there as you feel the wall and run directly into him. what a freeky thing to live through. the food was good, the little shop of horror went through a make over and is really inviting. there are surprises around every corner but nothing that will hurt you. Its July and Bella has not stopped talking about it and we still hame MONTHS to go. last time she waited at the carnival with her grandma, this time she is going. caution they do not sell a child's tix so prepare for your tween to be up all night. Can't wait!!!

Awesome family experience. Multiple attractions!! Something for all ages. If the kids don't want to participate in the scary stuff, they have a carnival to keep them occupied. It's expensive at the gate. Search online for discount tickets. Got ours on groupon for 1/2 price.

I've been going to Frightland for 6 years in a row now, and every year I get to experience a different thrill. Every year Frightland adds a new attraction, or changes one of the old ones, thus creating a new experience for the customers. The walking through parts where the people scare you takes anywhere from 1 - 3 hours depending on what time of the night you go due to extensive line waiting...the most you'll wait in line for is 30 minutes, and thats for the hayride, which is about a 25 minute long hayride, and is pretty amazing. Then there are the carnival rides, which are free as long as you buy the Fright Pass, which is $35... it gets you into all scare attractions once, and then unlimited carnival rides... Id suggest this place for 12 years and older.

A Middletown Tradition. That is only intown for about 30 days. It is a fall carnival for a great cause. I highly recommend visiting the haunted attractions!

Went here for the first time with my husband and teenage daughter. I don't do scary but promised my family I would 'face my fears'. Sadly, they held me to it and off we went. When you walk in, there are a few carnival type rides and games. Nice if you have little kids (or big kids like me) who don't like anything too scary. There are also a few places to grab a bite to eat or drink. The attractions were awesome; we did the entire package which was all 8 attractions (4 indoor, 4 outdoor and the rides). The price was around $30. I think it was worth the money. The attractions were scary and the indoor attractions are VERY dark so you basically bump your way around until you reach the end. I loved the haunted hayride. Scary but fun. In all, I would recommend this place to families with older children. Great family fun evening for us.

The attic was so dark that we couldn't see a single thing. That would have been a good thing except there is no way of knowing which direction to go so we somehow missed the whole attraction except for the turning tunnel. We went on a night where it had been raining during the day, we called ahead of time and they said all attractions were still open. When we got there after an hour drive all of the outside attractions were closed.

My wife and I went to Frightland as I have in years past. This year was different then ever before. There were monsters, growls and creatures everywhere we turned. They were friendly (kind of) and helpful, pointing us in the direction if where we want to go next. In years past, the forest used to be a bore... this year there was someone every five feet, WOW how scary and fun to watch my wife get scared out of her skin. The reason I put the title I did was due to this... THING in the transit or walking area where there are some shops and food places. a horrifying 10 foot tall CLOWN. Not so bad until he tried to eat me and sent his smaller clown after my wife's friend. $35 for a Saturday night event was not bad for the fun and entertaining time we had. We felt safe and welcomed. Scares came when needed but it is all in good fun. If you get there and there are long lines... My suggestion is an upgrade to a RIP pass this is their VIP lines which cut some of the wait to a minimum.

Me and a few parents took our tween kids. We enjoyed all the attraction, the prison and the attic made us all scream a few times and worth a visit. The hayride was the most fun(and the longest line) and also scary at times because the actors jump onboard at times. The graveyard isn't really scary. The actors do follow you through the attractions and the also walk up to you while you're in line least expecting it. Over all the actors do a great job and their costumes and make up are excellent. The food is reasonable and didn't give any of us heartburn and send us running to the toilet. The rides are questionable, so not many people on that side of Frightland. They don't allow any bags, cameras or purses. There is security and they do walk the park. My only complaint is people that constantly smoke in line, and continue to smoke even after announcements are made to not smoke in lines. The park opens at 6:00, but the attractions do not open til almost 7:00.

Best Halloween attractions, I have been to in a while. It has been years since I got goosebumps. There is something for everyone. And it is pretty dam scary. You could bring kids to the first 4 attractions and let them play on the rides. That has a carnival boardwalk feel where the rides and food are, pretty friendly. The last 4 attractions will haunt you. They have an awesome scary story line that intertwines, and the actors and actresses are amazing and very creepy. One of the owners, Phil Miller was beyond accommodating. And it is accessible to the handicap as well. I think the attic is the only attractions you would miss out on. The attic is dark, you feel lost and like you are in a maze trapped, it is eerie.

This was my first time going to frightland and I had a blast. I first got on the hayride which was pretty well put together. Then I went to adalia manor which I thought was cheesy but it scared my friends ( the weakest of all the sets ) then we went to the prison, which was by far my favorite . I was constantly screaming. The actors are very decated. Next we went to the barn which was my 2nd favorite it scared me pretty good , and lastly we went through the attic we saved that for last because we heard it was the best. Wrong. It's hot and tight and so dark all you do is run into walls, a lot of wasted space. Overall though I had a blast, most definitely going back !!
