We love Dutch Country Farmer's Market. We try to go for the special events that they hold in addition to the regular shopping experiences. We went for kids night where they had FREE hotdogs, ice cream, donuts, lip balm, mac-n-cheese and candy for the kids. They also had a clown doing face painting and balloon animals. Sometimes they have an anniversary bash with FREE hotdogs and such. It is really great for the community. My husband went to one of their Yard Sales and we have been to several of the Pig Roasts by Stoltzfus. We mostly go there for donuts, Amish bacon, garden flags, bakery rolls/buns and the Pig Roasts by Stoltzfus! The pulled pork sandwich is pretty good. We also like the regular BBQ by Stoltzfus throughout the year. I have had their fried chicken, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, potato wedges and macaroni-m-cheese so far. The Mac-n-cheese is the best! Overall, a nice place to pick up some produce, Amish meats, baked goods and donuts. Prices are reasonable. We won't buy our bacon anywhere else now!!

Always good to walk through but beware you will eat a lot. They have great food and a very large selection of all most everything.

I like to visit this farmers market every now & then. IF I lived a little closer, I would probably visit every week. There is such a vast array of items for sale here from the various vendors. You can get furniture, decorative lawn flags, meats, cheeses, milk, produce, prepared foods (hand rolled pretzels, BBQ, pizza, salads), baked goods, donuts, chocolates, cooking supplies and so much MORE. There is even an on site sit-down Dutch Restaurant. I haven't eaten at the restaurant or Stoltzfus BBQ yet. I would love to try the BBQ place though because it looks & smells heavenly! I have considered breakfast at the Dutch Restaurant too, but we usually don't make it there until late afternoon. We like the donuts, baked goods, cheeses, pretzels and bulk foods. The donuts are pretty good. We have also had some of the cakes and such from A & R Bakery. They have been good. I love that you can sample the cheese & what not over at Pine Ridge Cheese. They also have cheesecakes, milk, dips and snacks. I love that I can get all kinds of spices and baking supplies at M & A Treats. They sell chocolate melts, food flavoring oils, spices, dusting sugars/sprinkles/candies, dip mixes, soup mixes and MORE. They also sell prepared candy, chocolates, fudge, caramel apples & etc. Our trip is never complete until be stop by the hand rolled pretzel stand, Dutch Twists, for a soft pretzel. They are delicious & almost half the price of the ones in the Mall food court!Overall, a great place to shop. We will be back & would recommend to others. Note: Watch for events like the Yard Sales & Pig Roasts on location. I have even seen Horse & Buggy Rides here from time to time.

Love the farmer's market in Middletown. In one stop, you can purchase everything from apples to zucchini, and from furniture to toys. Vendors there include fruit and vegetable stand, fresh meats and cheeses, baked goods, Amish made furniture, toy vendors, knick knacks, T-shirt stores, salad bars, and much more. Definitely a great place to shop in town.

There are various vendors who sell anything from meats, baked goods small electronics to furniture. The prices are fair. The days that they are open are Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Food to eat in or take out. Produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods. Always top quality and reasonable price. The vendors are the usual and spots change with some frequency, but old staples like furniture stay the course. Get a sausage/cheese pretzel, but save one for me!

This market is a find. The large butcher area provides a wonderful selection of naturally fed meat, with a variety of creative sausages, steaks, chicken, turkey etc. What you won't find is Veal and possibly not lamb. Prices are comprable with area grocery stores. You will also find a huge selection of homemade candies, baked goods, fabulous warm pretzels and produce. There are other areas that sell Amish made furniture, cheeses, cooked food, cut flowers and more. Everyone who enters comes out with something. It is a fun place to shop.

Great place to get some good Amish baked goods and fresh meats! Another big plus is they have Hersheys hand dipped ice cream! Great place to hangout for a morning or afternoon!

I am fortunate to live just 5 minutes from the Dutch Country Farmers Market and visit it weekly. It's like stepping back in time -- you can select the exact cut of meat from the display case, watch the Amish bakers prepare sticky buns and fill donuts, special order the exact piece of furniture from the craftsman, hand pick your produce, assemble an entire meal via the homemade soup/salad vendor, barbeque, cheese shop, and pretzel maker, or simply sit down and have a homemade meal served on the spot. The people, both shoppers and vendors, are a treat. Open only on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, I plan my week's shopping around my Dutch Market selections.

My wife and I go here just about every weekend. We love the fresh pastries and the meats. The atmosphere is friendly and you can always find what you want. The cakes, pies, buns and other goodies are hard to pass up and always fresh. We especially like the breakfast where you can load up with scrabbled eggs, bacon, scrapple and sausage for a resonable price. All in all a great place to shop.
