This was my first guided rafting experience and it was amazing! I wish we would have been able to get it in earlier in the summer with high water as I think it would have been more thrilling, but it was still a blast! Our guide was very knowledgeable about not only the water but also the surrounding area/land and he was really personable! The homemade cookies we were surprised with was the icing on the cake, they were delicious! :) We will definitely be doing this again, especially if we can score another amazing deal like we did off of LivingSocial for this one!

This was the first experience of White Water Rafting. The guides were great and we had a great time. We just wish we had gone earlier in the year when the water was a little higher and planned a full day instead of a half day. Really great people!!!!!

Second time on the river with SRC. The Salmon River was flowing faster than normal for this time of year and was extremely dirty because of storms in the mountains. This made the trip even more exciting. Our family had two rafts rented and both guides Fred and Ben were outstanding. I think they had as much fun as we did. We got a selection of drinks on the trip plus fresh cookies and to top it off they gave us blackberries at the end. We will float with them again next summer and may go for a 4 day trip. A great bunch of people!

This company is the best! From the beginning -- making a reservation -- to the very end -- the sharing of sweet fresh blackberries -- and every minute in between...this trip down the river was incredible. The owners are amazing. OMG, our guide, so great, so smart, so fun... THANK YOU.

I have been going with SRC for 20 years and have always been impressed with their rates, friendliness and safety. The ride is always spectacular and the guides are hunks. We always come back to SRC- because they are a family owned business that gives a warm personal service to their guests. I plan to go on a steelhead fishing trip in September and a longer 3 day trip in the near future.

In our party there were two of us who had never been white water rafting. We were glad we made SRC our choice. Before the half-day trip was done we were all talking about coming back next year for another trip! Our guide was knowledgeable and all of us "rode the bull". Fantastic time!

We had a blast on our full day trip. Our party of 17 took 2 rafts to fit us all and the guides were absolutely superb. They were knowledgeable, very safety conscious and fun. Good food and great service. We have rafted with other companies and SRC is the best, hands down. We will be back.

We had such a blast rafting with Salmon River Challenge this summer. Our guide was awesome and very knowledgable. We did a half day trip which was a great amount of time, and would love to come back for a full day trip. I absolutely recommend this for your summer adventure, you won't regret it!

We took the all day trip and had a blast! Water isn't running all that fast in August but we were still treated to lots of fun. Shad was full of information and encouraged water fights and swimming. The picnic he set out on a sandbar at lunchtime was good...homegrown tomatoes! Amazing that our entire group, aged 17-69, all had a wonderful day.

If you want a marvelous Idaho experience, definitely book with Salmon River Challenge over other outfitters. We had a total blast on a full-day raft trip down the Salmon. Guides well-trained, excellent equipment, safety awareness, and well organized. The weather, scenery, lunch, timing and adrenaline rush from the whitewater was perfect for us! We would do again. Not too scary at all, but also not for the faint of heart. We stayed at the Best Western, which was a nice location with our pet. Even though weather was really hot (100 degrees), it was very comfortable on the water. Sun and heat not too intense. AJ and Dennis, Boise area.
