What you get for $9 is 54-holes of miniature golf! That part is great! But all 54 holes are jammed in one big room and you get so close to people golfing ahead and behind you that it's hard to actually enjoy playing! The holes, balls, etc., glowing in the dark was fun and gave us something a little different to do. However, I'm not sure we'll go back.

Fun environment, clean, pleasant employees. This was a part of mini family vacation to be able to meet up with extended family and still offer our family activites for a fun time.

Glow Golf is a new attraction to the Des Moines area, being only open for less than a month. My wife and I took our grandkids there today and were highly disappointed. The theme for the miniature golf course is "glow in the dark", so everything is black lighted. However, the courses are cheesy and the design is so poor you would think it was created by a 6 year old. The bank shots are not designed to aid anyone and there is no way you can make a hole-in-one on numerous holes. I spoke to other parties that were there (it was a rainy day) and everyone said the same thing, they weren't coming back. The only nice thing about it was the price: $9 for adults, $7 for kids and you could put through 54 holes if you wanted to. Nobody that made it through 36 wanted to go further. None in our party (even the kids didn't like it), and none in the three parties ahead of us or the ones behind us. Adults were complaining that the holes were impossible to putt through and the bank shots not lined up.If you have nothing else to do on a rainy day in Des Moines, read a book than waste your money here.
