Lovely Park on Lake Minnetonka! Great spot for a Wedding! One of my cousins got married here several years ago. It was beautiful!

I just love going here! Whether to relax, get ideas for my own gardens, sit by the lake, sip my coffee and read or just for a stroll. There are flowers and natural grasses in many beds and landscape areas that are perfect for picture taking and idea stealing. Go here...you'll love it.

Beautiful setting, absolutely worth the drive. The gardens are not big but quite impressive. The view of Lake Minnetonka is gorgeous and completes the experience.

This is such a special place so close to a major metropolitan area. I went there with a friend in September and there was only one other person there. We were able to sit on the deck of the boat house and watch the boats on Lake Minnetonka. It was a beautiful and sunny autumn day-just perfect for enjoying the gardens.Although it was late in the year and the gardens were past their peak, it was still a lovely place for a walk and to sit and relax. I liked that many of the plants were named. I do wish there had been a restroom and drinking fountain available. Next time I will know to bring water long. The garden is off the beaten path. I thought we must have missed it. Once we turned off the highway, we saw no signs. Many of the gardens were along a paved sidewalk, but others would be difficult to reach if you were pushing a stroller or using a wheelchair as there was no path. The parking lot has gravel. There is no access to the water.

This quiet garden along Lake Minnetonka provides the amateur gardener a nice selection of plants to consider for sun or shade plantings.

Not a huge garden but really nice. We came out one time and some actors were putting on a play. There is a real nice gazebo out on the lake with a nice view.

This is a great little flower garden to walk around and also a great place for a wedding. It's right on Lake Minnetonka which has beautiful views of home and the Layfayette Country Club. Nice relaxing place to walk around.

Pick a warm Summer day and go explore this idyllic little park on Lake Minnetonka. You will feel like you stepped into a dream world of naturalism as you experience the wind and sun and trees and see the beautiful plant life. This place feels like it belongs to another century. You will find plenty of benches to sit on, or bring a few blankets and sprawl on the ground. I have brought many a book to read there and enjoyed every minute of my time. I believe it closes after Labor Day each year so pick a day in July or August and go with someone you love. You will be drawn to it again and again.
