If you want to get out of the city and enjoy a beautiful fall day,Luceline Orchard is the place to go. It is just a 40 minute drive west of Downtown Minneapolis. On your drive, you will pass rolling hills and ranches and a few quaint small towns. The day of our visit, there was a craft show at the orchard and the SweeTangos and Zestar were ready for purchase. We had used a LivingSocial Coupon which included a apple burger, chips, drink and a hayride w/ a stop at the corn maze. Lines were long and it was extremely busy but the staff was working hard to get to everyone taken care of. Customer service was outstanding and we felt that everyone was very appreciative that we were there.Because it was a beautiful day it seemed that everyone was out and about. It is a perfect place for kids: hay rides, kiddie rides, lots of animals, and many places to explore. For the adults that want to get away from the chaos a little, try Porter's Trail, which is a quieter walk through the woods.Luceline Orchard is a family run business and the personal touch shows. It is over an hour drive for us but worth it for a great day with my husband. Insider tip: try the honey butter that is sold there. It is heaven! Oh and don't forget to pick up a bag of SweeTangos; my personal favorite.
