We visited the Veteran's Memorial while attending a military reunion in Rochester. The memorial is a great place to spend some time reflecting on the sacrifices so many people have made for our Country! Very moving experience!

The city of Rochester should be very proud to have a memorial this nice. It not only show respect for our fallen hero’s but is also beautiful and educational. Yes I shed a tear and am proud of it!

this place was made with a lot of love is all i will say, and the future is to grow it more. a lot of history in the walls and walks and the wall is huge also, not like DC but shows a lot of veterans from this area who gave their lives for this country in all wars. MN is the leading state for veterns in the wars. You will probably see many men with their hats on around town and license plates showing theuy are veterans also, bring your camera in the fall with the trees and leaves changing .

This memorial was built & kept up by private donations, no government monies were used. It's a beautiful remembrance to our fallen soldiers.

Everything I liked...the pool has an area for toddlers plus older children....the parks have princess slides and camps for the kids to play on.....the Veteran's Memorial has area soldiers and Verterans names to trace with paper and pencil....just wonderful....great view of Mayo and Plumber Building, and the Kahler sign.

Very fitting tribute to our veterans. Beautiful sight. In large park area with lots to do and see. Interesting murals surrounding the Memorial.

I love this Memorial site for the Veterans. I really think that our capital should have such an impressive Memorial in St Paul/Minneapolis. Each state should. I really enjoyed reading all the Wonderful Engraved Quotes, the name(s) of the soliders we have lost and the beautiful Statue of Mother & Child looking up to the heavens due to just being told that her Husband and the little boy father will not be coming home. It's what so many families experience through these heros that sacrifice for this country. Just BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
