Beautiful location, and great wines. Probably the friendliest winery you'll ever visit (not to mention knowledgeable too!)

Stopped in about half hour before closing time and ended up staying over an hour just chatting with Tom and Siri. They were so warm and welcoming that it seemed like we had been friends for years. A full tasting will run $5 but the pours are very generous. The wines are very good and we purchased 2 of our favorites. Now we need to head back since we have already finished what we bought. BTW, the Frontenac Rose is excellent paired with blacked pork chops.

My girlfriend and I stopped by here on a whim and it was easily the best decision of our trip to Red Wing. Tom and Ceri are an endearing couple with a beautiful farm and a fantastic selection of wine. They'll chat with you like you're their neighbor and ply you with GENEROUS samplings of wine. I can't recommend checking out this winery enough. We will most definitely be returning in the summer!

This winery is easy-to-find, right off 61 south of Red Wing. And what a gorgeous location! The tasting room is on the small side, but the owners will welcome you with their friendly, neighborly and knowledgeable wine-tasting narrative. I liked that tasting notes are available, and I was especially interested in learning about all the nuances of how the wines were made. My favorite was the frontenac gris - would've bought a case if the prices were slightly more reasonable! (Cost of the wine tasting @ $5 was definitely worth it, though). There is a cooler with soda and water available for visitors who are not drinkers, which is a plus.

This was one of the few wineries open on a Tuesday in the area. I am so glad they were open! The setting was beautiful. The wines were delicious and the owner was friendly. The owner gave us some great tips about where to visit and eat on your trip into Red Wing. You choose from 3 different tastings (red, white, mix). I purchased 3 bottles of white wine and a glass of red. We sat on some chairs overlooking the vineyard and the owner's beautiful gardens as I sipped on the wine. Horses were wandering the hill above the vineyard. It all made for some great photos. Very relaxing. Please visit!

We visited her on a cool, rainy day whice is maybe why we had such a great tasting ...there were about 3 other couples so each group had their own server ...there was a lot of education such as trying a wine aged in steel with oak chips vs in oak barrels ( big difference in taste) ..with the Frontenac we preferred the barrel aged, with the Marquette we preferred the chip aged...we tried the same grape with wine made from just the juice & with the whole crushed grape that is fermented that way then extracted ...again big difference in taste. We bought 3 bottles and they invited us back in next July when this years harvest is ready for drinking. Very nice folks & very proud of their work and it shows

My wife and I used the Minnesota winery passport book to visit this winery in Redwing. What it lacked in first impression was quickly made up by the wine tasting and friendly and cordial hostess and tasting. Eight wines that meet a variety of different tastes. Our hostess, one of the owners, took time to explain the history of the winery and the essence of each wine. This was followed by a tour of their wine making facility. A wonderful experience and will be followed up with a return visit.
