Small neighborhood bar that has great burgers. This is a old bar with the charm that goes with it. If you are looking for a modern sports bar it's not for you. If you are looking for a charming old bar with good food and loyal customers then come on down you will love it. Always enjoy our time spent there.

Poor service, had to get our own beers and menues at the bar, missing condiments that were ordered, asked the waitress for the missing items and was told they were out of them but we were still charged for them. Fries were cold and had to be remade. Awful experience!!

I love the burgers here. My biggest problem is deciding which one to order since I like a number of them. To make it worse they often have a daily special that sounds really good too.Service is normally very good and the staff is friendly. I will say that the place does often fill up with regulars/bikers and when it does you can start to feel a little out of place or slightly 2nd class. Otherwise - this is a great place for a satisfying lunch or an afternoon of drinks and relaxation.

The music was great!! Biker bar, which we're not!, but kind of like a Cheers atmosphere, which we loved!

Great live music, really good burgers which are half price on some nights. Yes, there are a fair share of bikers there but unless you're looking for a more upscale place, I don't find it offensive. Some of the bartenders are better than others, but we usually leave feeling glad we went. Check out the old bar which was built by Hamm's many, many years ago. Oldest bar in MN.

If your looking for a great place to listen to live music in a smaller venue. Neumies is the place to be!!! Small town atmosphere(free cover) - great wait staff and bartenders! Grab a burger and onion rings, you won't be disappointed. NO better place then the oldest bar in the Twin Cities(est 1887).

Fun old bar with great burgers! The atmosphere is great and they usually have bands or entertainment there on the weekends. Good place to have a small get together

Neumann's is a good place for a beer and a bite. Food is very standard fare but I've certainly had much worse. Majority of the patrons appear to be local residents who know each other. Either that or they know each other from spending lots of time at Neumann's! Weekends offer a variety of live bands that are mainly of the rock & roll and blues types. Small dance floor fills up when the music plays. There is an outside patio/beer garden situated between buildings that is well used as weather permits. On most summer Fridays you will also find many blocks of 7th Ave in front of Neumann's filled with classic cars, almost looking like the 50's and 60's when everyone "cruised Main Street" on Friday night. We have been to Neumanns a bunch of times. The burgers are great and because it is the oldest bar in MN it has alot of history to learn and see. the staff is friendly and the live music they have on the weekends is Great. we will keep going back that is for sure.

The experience was about as good as getting my teeth drilled.Bunch of Biker slobs and drunks leaning on the bar.When you come in they give the death stair, like who the blank are you coming into my bar.The food is bad. and thats about it.
