This was my second year running the Apple Blossom race and I just loved it! The trails were clean and it was a perfect Minnesota Park! Loved the buildings and the view was to die for! I would suggest family gatherings, weddings etc.. as its the perfect spot for something like that.Great park for walking as well!

We did an approx 3 mile walk on the trails. The paved trails need some repair but the views of the river were good.

We enjoyed seeing the Visitor Center and all that is being done to preserve this wonderful nature sanctuary.

Beautiful area to walk around. The main building has a few large birds to view. They have a raptor release in the Fall for birds that hve been rehabilitated. Worth the trip!

We discovered this place by accident. We were traveling part of the Great River Road and decided to drive along the St Croix river on county road 21 - St Croix Trail - and saw the sign at the entrance. It was a lucky find. This nature center is worth visiting. I didn't take a photo of the fields and walks available, but you can ramble.

Walking trails, gardens, apple orchard, bird watching and learning center. Great place for a quiet walk on paved trails with views of the St Croix. Free to walk the trails.The center offers programs for children for a small fee (apple orchard tours, tapping a maple tree for syrup). We saw a bald eagle released to the wild once, too.The buildings on the grounds are beautiful - friendly staff - and you get to experience the Lower St Croix river valley in its quiet beauty.
